I'm looking to find a beautiful place to hold an event soon, and I need ideas.

So I would like you to post, the area you loved the most, that is open and that you consider very beautiful.

A cliff top to a certain temple on Dregar in the Forest of Mists.
I might be biast because I made that area though

That is a nice one, well the forest just before the rocky passage.

Anyone have anymore place they like?

You might try the waterfall outside Blackford Castle, or the cliffs at Blackford Castle West, they're both easilly accessible areas to all characters.  Another option might be the Gnoll Watchtower, though that's not quite as easilly accessed for lower-level characters.

I love the gnoll watchtower, but like haven, the wind there is making me nuts, and it's not pleasant to play without sounds. But it's truly a good map.

It may be just me, and I don't know the name of the zone, but I really like the zone right before the Temple of Elemental Balance on Alindor. It's all hilly, and there's the water feature in the center with that mysterious rock on it. Very cool place.

I also really like Stone.

There are a few other places that I dig, but I'd have to revisit them in-game to remember more about them.

Is it Lake of Glass? Anyhow, the lake that was by the Minaret before the Miraret went poof...

Off of High Peak Lake maybe?  that map has been the site of many a wedding ceremony over the years.

We haven't visited that lake yet, but it's on our list of sight to look at.
