*first encounter with orcs*
After spying on the orcs outside the High forest i have become aware that i wont get any nearer my goal to study them. They seem to have some odd interest in the cave mouth that leads below. I've heard people talking about it as the Broken Halls. As of yet i've stayed out of these halls due to several warnings from people in town. The Orcs sit around all day, have but a few gaurds that fall asleep on duty, theyre pathetic really. And not one would have the guts let alone the skill in leadership to perform an attack as such on the High forests residents. Torturing one of the orcs might get me information if it was'nt for that horrible stench and sound they utter from their lips. I think killing them is the best..yes.
*goblins*
It seem the first impression of Goblins was wrong. I've heard tales of them being the ally and friend of the Orcs, but i see in a few, that they posess a soul and contience. They might be evil, but only so for theyre growing up under terror and continues beatings. They would'nt have it in them to be a part of something so cruel as in the High forest. They are no threat. Leave them.

Gar:
During a small rest in Valensk Rashar used a trashcan as a targetting device. Upon striking it, several rats fled for their life. I managed to save one before Rashar's barrage of magic ended the live's of the rest. Pity..but they wanted his life.
I am now feeding Gar with the flesh of the Orc, in doing so i am training him to track them down for me to..study. I have high hopes for him, he shows great pleasure in feasting upon their meat. Lets hope tracking them aswell.

*a loving couple*
On one of my may trps through the vinding roads on Mistone, i got myself enveloped in what i would call a lovers curse. Claus of Krandor, an apparently normal man as myself, had one day had his dear wife torn from him. I cannot express the sorrow i shared with him, yet i managed to hide my feelings from the others. No one noticed im sure. I ofcourse agreed to help Claus along with several other eager travellers who felt, or anyway thought they shared his sorrow. We quickly found what had hapened to her, even spoke to her restless spirit, who only wanted peace, with her love Claus of Krandor. We found out that a band of monsters, some called them Mintaurs, but they were'nt. More like natures joke bred with a goat. Horrible beasts who dvelled in the Swordrust Mountains. I managed to track them to their lair, and together with the other we killed them all. Afterwards we found the remains of several humans torn to shreds and eaten from. We managed to find his wife's remains and burned the rest. We then brought her bodilly remains back for Claus to see, to make him understand that his dear wife was no more. He went insane in the moment he heard what had happened, soon after he stormed out of Krandor battle ready and thirsty for revenge. He met the goat creatures in battle, us right behind him, we managed to kill them, yet Claus was stricken a mighty blow from the leader which send him tot he ground stone cold.
He got his revenge that day. His wife and him were together, more than i can say at this point. It is now clear that i need to get my revenge if i am to meet my family eye to eye in the afterlife. The orcs will be no more when im done with this world i swear it on my dead family.

*sweet gems*
I went to Krandor again this day. Yet again got myself into doing someone elses bidding, fixing someone elses problem. We were to find a mothers son, make sure he was alright.
We went to a lodge out in the Swordrust Mountains. We asked around to find the might be missing son. We were met with a smile and was offered food and drink, as they told us we would have to wait a few days for his arrival. The food was poisoned, luckilly not all took took their kindness for true. Some stayed awake and fought off the undead assailants they sent for us.
What happened there after is irrellevant, whats interesting is that we were lead to believe that a powerful item, to be used for good, was hidden in a maze we quickly found ourself in. We then fought our way through it, met several powerful undeads. Bodak's i heard mentioned...a name im not to forget, its scream send me half way into the afterlife. Luckilly a generous Priest of Mist, brought me back to. Im impressed with his powers. Yet also saddended that im not united with my family. But my revenge isnt done yet, so i'll keep Rolf, which was his name, dear to me. I saw the sacrifice he made on his face as i awakened, his face torn in pain from bringing me back.
Well on we went and found what could have been the artifact i found mentioned in a tome down there. A small necklace, imbued with the ability to protect its wearer. A most interesting thing. Before we were forced to flee the place i got a rare opportunity to study a gem, a beautiful ruby. Never have i seen the like, i cannot wait for the day i get to hold an emerald in my hands, natures most prescious stone.
