I'm pretty sure you need to apply for a CDQ regarding learning the language, and after the CDQ it will be approved.

Yes you should have one your bio supported it and I forgot to approve it when I approved your character...my apologies.  You can ask any dm in game to let you have one and direct them to your bio here:
