New Guy Questions, help?

I find a few gems when I kill stuff... and wonder what are they for, where can I sell them, are these minerals? I read something about a mineral bath? Sorry, can't find the info so I am asking around...

As far as I know, you can get those minerals to gemstones in the crafting houses, and then make jewelry with them, boosting saves or ability scores (Strength, Dexterity, etc).

The mineral bath is to discover what type of mineral you have when you find those Mystery minerals. Not very sure though, never tried it myself.

The gems you find when you kill a monster are in mineral form. In order to use them for anything you need to visit a craft hall (after purchasing some gem crafters tools and a gem chisel). There you can do several things to it. You can attempt to cut it and then polish it. You can also just crush it into dust.

You can also sell the mineral. Depending on what type it is people may or may not want to buy it.

Mineral baths are for if you have an unknown mineral. Washing it off will make it clear what it is.

Gems and their dust have many uses. You can ask around ICly in game to find out more.
