  "Those who prefer to earn their keep near the comfort of Hlint pay heed.  I am in need of certain supplies found close to Hlint, and will pay fairly for the delivery of these items.  Please see the list below for what is needed, and what I offer as payment:
    Box(es) of elderberries - 250 600  gold pieces per box
  Box(es) of skullcap leaf - 400 800 1000 gold pieces per box
  Box(es) of spider silk - 400 600 gold pieces per box
  Box(es) of Purple mushrooms - 1000 gold pieces per box
  Box(es) of hops - 800 gold pieces per box
  Box(es) of spotted mushrooms - 1000 gold pieces per box
    Consider these prices as a guideline.  I am willing to make reasonable adjustments to any price if necessary.  If you are interested in conducting business with me, please contact me on this board, and I will make arrangements with you through a private dispatch.

  "Elderberries are found by leaving the east gate of Hlint, then taking the path to the north.  After going over a small hill, look to your left.  The skunks like to snack on the elderberries, so they are likely to spray you as you try to take their food.  Contact me via Private Messenger when you have a box or more.

  "Thanks to those who have retrieved skeleton knuckles for me.  What I need most of now are elderberries and skullcap leaf.  Remember, one machine can do the work of fifty ordinary men. No machine can do the work of one extraordinary man.

I suspect your difficulties obtaining skullcap have something to do with the guardians routinely singeing or zapping the poor hapless resource gatherers even when said gatherers are invisible.  

//Either I was lucky in my early days or gathering or one of the recent updates changed the routine spells cast by those creatures.

*Phillip Underwood walks up and reads the note, and he wonders what kind of food he will eat tomorrow*

I think I know where there is some spider silk!

*Zarquil spots the note - quickly reads it and taps on the request for spotted mushrooms.

She thinks aloud "Hmm that price is a little low considering those creatures one has to get past to get to those mushrooms."

Out comes a piece of blue paper and she neatly writes a note and pins in under the original note:

"Dear Xiao Lin,
I would be happy to sell you a box (or more) of spotted mushrooms, but for 1400 pieces of gold instead of 1000. Please let me know if you are interested.

She pats the note gently and keeps her hand on it while she reads through the other notes on the board. "I hope he doesn't think I'm rude asking for more money" she ponders. She rips off the blue note and writes another one:

"Dear Xiao Lin,
I would be happy to sell you a box (or more) of spotted mushrooms, but for 1200 pieces of gold instead of 1000. Please let me know if you are interested.

She pins up the note with a satisfied look and wanders off.
