If you are using knockdown vs a character or creature.. whatever... IT is your (d20) + (your attack bonus) - (4) . So say d20+your attack bonus of 15? then you minus 4. That is the # the defender must beat with his discipline check.. if not they are knocked down.
Now.. reference Imp Knockdown. The game just considers you one size larger when doing the equation. It is a plus 4 bonus to your "attacking" check per size category your are larger... Original NWN coding has 2 PC size categories. Small and Medium. Small halfing gnome etc... MEdium = human elf etc.. including HALF ORC. He is not a large. Now with LAYO rules.. half giants, wemics, and half ogres.. are considered large. In reference to holding a weapon they are.. but im not sure how detailed the coding is. But if correct a half giant attacking a halfling.. would recieve plus 8. becaus ethe halfling is small and the half giant is large.. get it?
now lets say your a 23 ranger 14 druid 3 monk.. epic dragon form build. *this is my action build I use on low magic magic servers.. it owns anything just about* When you use imp knockdown with that build.. a dragon is considered HUGE.. so do the math. That's besides the point... and its the same for every size category smaller.. a -4 instead of plus 4. I hope this helps you... and wait ill look up and add the link . Im sure LORE has one
