Question about post 1.67 crafting tools

MAybe this is because I havent purchased a crafting license yet... however I used to be able to wield my skinning knife.. and I no longer can... Being that my character is 3rogue..3fgt.. I should be able to (feat wise)

Is this a bug or something implemented from update? Thanks in advance

Is your character a half-giant/half-ogre? or possibly wemic?
  If so, there's a known issue  with the larger playable races due to a "fix" from Bioware.  Essentially, they can't equip small weapons any longer.
  We're working to address it and we will have a work-around in the next update most likely.

Yeah, they shouldn't have made this "fix" unless they were adding large and huge weapons as well.  Currently theres no weapon a large creature can weild 2-handed.
