    Changes to Goblin caves/housing
    « on: May 20, 2006, 12:09:05 AM »
I was wondering, because this is an evolving world wouldn't areas that get adventured alot eventually change? What I was wondering was if the Red Fang goblins (the ones new adventurors love to kill) were all killed could that areas be used for player housing?

With the server having orcs, goblins, and giants.. plus other monsterous like characters it would be fun to have a place for them to hang out.

Like maybe the red Fang could become npcs not hostles.. like a treaty or something.
Maybe I'm being silly. But I would love my goblin character to have one of those cool huts instead of a house in town.
    Just wondering.

Not a bad idea and one that we have considered before. The problem arises (on this sort of thing at least) that we remove an adventuring zone (a major one at that) and so we have to create a new one for the appropriate level. But then we also need to change the old one to allow for player housing and such. On top of that there is CNR in the cave so we have to move that to another location.

And then we have the problem of we can't grow our modules any larger than they are now... west is full.
