after posting this and looking at server status page again

race was listed as half-elf this time

It's what shows when a druid is shapechanged I think.  Not sure if it does the same for polymorph but all the druids from time to time show up like that.

Pretty sure any shape change by a PC will cause an "invalid race" report on the server status page, including the polymorph spells.
