A scroll with a short story appears on the board Caelas, a young Ilsarian elf, knocks on the door of the Leilon Arms Inn for hours... Patience seems to be his virtue, unlike the impatience of the one he seeks. Freldo unwraps the mantle of invisibilty standing just a little behind Caelas and startles him enough to get an arrow shot straight through his left arm at point blank range. The arrow hits the street many yards behind Freldo and a groan of pain comes from the bard. "You're getting good at that," Freldo remarks with a painful smile, holding his bleeding arm, fumbling with a bandage. "I need you to write something for me," Caelas states, "and I need to know what you know about undead." "Nothing except that I hate undead, to hard for me to work my songs into. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get one to listen to my songs? 'Brains, brains, brains' is all they're intrested in. Honestly..." Freldo starts as Caelas cuts him off. "I saw a vampire today, I want you to warn others of it." Raising an eyebrow, Freldo starts to reply, "So, near that ...ed troll cavern of Dregar..." and is cut off again. [SIZE=+1]
"Dire wood cave, they say it's called. In there, undead of a strong kind, unknown to be fixed residents of that cavern. Reverants, skeletons with their organs still in them, a few vampires and a vampire cleric. If the caverns are famous for their topaz, perhaps the undead have started to crave it or something else, I have no idea."[/SIZE] Freldo pales... That is, he

"Mind if I write a short story about it and post that?" "No, go ahead, just don't make me sound stupid." Caelas answered skipping and giggling like a little girl holding a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a toy bear in the other.
