I have arrived in Hlint upon Dread Priestess Chanda's request to aid my teacher Sipher. I have not had been in touch with him for months since I last saw him in Arabel and having received a message from the Dread Priestess to imply that he is alive suggests to me that we shall have hope yet of bringing Darkness toMistone under the glory of Corath. I have to say that Hlint is a bustling city. Many folk live here, but the dark taint of his presence has not made an impressionable mark here yet...

I managed to find my teacher in the east side of Hlint talking to a woman of sorts. She referred to herself as a Dark Mistress, and I found my teacher amused at such a term. I found the idea absurd.Sipher was unlike himself, unlike the last I saw him in Arabel. He seemed broken and unlike any other did not seem to recognise me. In time, I am sure that he will and that I shall serve him to carry outCorath's doing to the best of my ability.

He had made plans to seek blood for the Dark Lord so we came to the mercenaries encampment to claim our sacrifice and gold. I met with two of Sipher's so called acquaintances, one Alandric Vensk and Revonne Star, to which I learnt are one of us. I first suspected Alandric by his incesssant questioning of my background but when he rest assured me that we may share common ground, I told him. He smiled gleefully. It is obvious that I have found some of the taint of Corath in Mistone, and in time I hope to be one that helps expand it in this realm.
