Shadow De'thaar - A Glimpse into Darkness

*he sits in an alley behind the main road in Hlint and begins to write*

Tis a strange town.

I have aquired a bow and rapier and have made good use of them.  I can come from the shadows and slay a foe with a single arrow.  I have been hunting alone, and have become a better... killer. My god seems to guide my arrows, or does he?  Is it mine own hand and mind that guides me?

I shall need to seek assistance with the next tasks I need to complete to become more seasoned.  There seem to be many naive people in Hlint willing to help.  I shall take advantage of that and let them fall before my enemies, while I safely fire arrows from a distance, and stay in the shadows.  Seems the way to make good coins!

I must remember to, well, try and act friendly, for gruffness seems to get me no where with these fools.  Ah what they don't know won't hurt them.

*closes the black leather book, that is embroidered with an image of a hound, and fades into the shadows*

*He takes out his journal writing by the light that spills out someones back window*

I have found work.

The Order:
3 boxes of grain, any type
1 box of goblin ears

Payment:
One Panther Cloak

The cloak shall help me blend in even more with the Masters gift, the darkness.  Ha! Tis even a fun job. The goblins have a certain look on their faces when I emerge from the shadows and loose an arrow.  I believe I enjoy it.

*He closes the book, offers a rambling semi-incoherant prayer, and falls asleep under a wagon in an alley in Hlint.
