*the bardress approaches the bulletin board slowly as she sings a wordless song to the little one tottling behind her, she slides an intrigued eye over the latest notes posted, frowning slightly at the dagger sticking out of her board. She approaches still singing softly, and reads over the offending parchments. Her wordless song takes on lyrics in the form of a sing-song voice where a mother talks to her child in words he cannot possibly understand, but the tone is so pleasant he listens anyway.*
Dear dear little one, Port Hampstead is so far away,
An yet they bring threats and their hardships to a place already scorned.
*carefully pulling the dagger and both notes off the bulletin as she shifts back to her wordless melody, turning with a gentle smile to the little one nearly close enough to snatch at her skirts for balance. She rolls up the parchements together and slips the dagger into a pouch swinging at her side. She lovingly scoops up the little boy in one arm and nuzzles him gently her tune shifting back to her sing song lyrics.*
If they want our help for things, they should come ask,
No person in this town cares for a monument not of the Hold.
Maybe a trip to Hampstead to lighten our load?
*she giggles softly and gently strokes the toddler's face, he echoing her expression in just a simple smile. Resuming her good morning dance with the little boy, they resume their rounds about the Tavern making it ready for the day.*
