Connecting from same network

I and my son wish to play Layonara from the same network. I am of course tubasolo with Sammas Gondo as my character. He is natertomater with the character Cenden Hoqoun. That is if y'all allow this sort of thing. Let me know if you need more info.

I never thought of asking that question. My son and I have been playing on Layo for over a year. I just assumed that it was ok. Since it is a family friendly server. I hope I'm not wrong.

It's fine to have multiple family members playing from the same network.  The only consideration really is the technical networking issue (see the link Lord of the Forest posted above), as one can cause ghosting and server instability by not making those configuration changes.
