Ral said I should go out and see whats outside of vehl, so I decided to go to Port Hempstead. Ma and pa ain't too happy i'm leaving my job, but ral has some pretty big plans for us, so when I get rich and famous they'll get over it.

Just got into Hempstead whem I met this big fella named cam. And when I say big i mean BIG. Not to smart but good to have in a fight.*** I wonder if i could take him*** We looked around hemp for a while, some lady asked if we could kill some stuff in the sewers. W hat we didn't mention was that the place was dripping with these huge slug things that stick onto you and suck yer blood out. there must have been hundreds of them.

we got out of there fast and went outside the city.

I went back home for a while and while there i met girl named saira. she was running out of the city, said she was running from rofinites. I followed her all the way to fields where she met up with some other people. all of us decided to go explore some caves around hlint. goblins all over the place in there and they got the best of most of us. i got sent to the bindstone in hlint.***not something i want to happen too often***
while i was making my way back to the caves some of the others***shale and khuren*** encountered a figure dressed in black. they said he told them that he wanted saira, to take her somewhere. we all met back up at a campsite near the caves where shale took saira aside and told her what happened. she was pretty upset, said she had to go. the surprising thing was that she took off her helm, she had been covered from head to toe the whole time up to this point, and it turns out she is a dark elf. didn't really know how to feel about that. the guy shale and khuren met in the caves was also a dark elf, said he was going to take her back to the dark. we offered to help and she kept saying that we would just get killed to enslaved. i was going to help her get home, but ral said that whatever she needed to do, that if she didn't want out help then i should just let her go on her own. after talking with him about it for a bit i decided he was right. why should i bother if she doesn't want my help. she was nice but like ral said, take care of yourself first. he has big plans for us.

bear sits in a tavern in vehl and thinks about everything that has happened recently. And a lot had happened.

Saira was arrested. not sure why, but she was arrested outside the city for being inside the city. I stood outside her cage with shiff dragonheart in the middle of the square and tried to stop people from throwing stuff at her. They let her go, but the damage was done. Everyone knew who she was. I left the city, feeling that it was somehow a dirtier place than home, with her and shiff, trying to console her. Out in the fields shiff told me that if i ever betrayed her he would kill me. what does he know about me. nothing. Its like ral always says. you can help people but protect yourself above all, because they will turn on you if given a chance. I'll show shiff someday.

I met an interesting fellow in port hempstead. He has become my best friend, other than ral of course. His name is Ogzug'himmal. He has taken me to places I may never have seen. He knows mistone better than anyone. He and cassius have shown me that, as much as i like to fight and want to rush into the fray, sometimes its better to wait, and let your prey come to you.
with ral, og, cass, and colo, I have raised my fighting level to great heights, and learned tactics that i wouldn't have been able to without them. Ral says that I have become a good enough fighter that i should seek out a teacher to master my weapon. I will have to think about that.

I definitly need to find a teacher. I went into the red light caves with saira, toni, and someone named po, and we were doing great. we got all the way down to the bottom without TOO much trouble and were able to go into the last room healthy and ready. but i suggested a bad tactic. i made myself invisible and went straight for the leader. we should have drawn them out a few at a time. I got hit like a mountain fell on me and was sent back to the bindstone. luckily no visit from the soul mother. and just as lucky, the others were able to finish off the leader and get out alive. I must have done just enough damage to the leader and the shaman to weaken them to allow it.
But it was a really bad idea. I need to find someone to teach me tactic and show me advanced moves with my axe.
