And the fact the Supply is Insane, and Demand isn't...  I'm just in favor of something more stable, and maybe the Next Gen will resolve that...  Who knows...

Yes Raven keeps the most comprehensive list but has it been adjusted down with the drop in gold drops? Perhaps that should be considered on the low end items.

demand isnt there because the bow or ring or bag or whatever made by the lucky rolling level 5 crafter is the exact same as the level 15 crafter

the level 5 will sell for what he thinks is fair and not thinking of a standardized list to go by or he may not think there is such

certain things should be certain prices depending on where you buy them
just like the npcs for things you cant craft

for example
soul stones are anywhere from 150 to 250 coins depending on where you buy them

maybe shops or crafting guilds close to a resource would charge less for the item because you dont need a trek around the world to gather supplies

those items with peril involved cost more

and those items that cost more shouldnt be available to lower levels anyway, there are crafted goods that are perfect for lower levels, but should not be the same price as something you have to be say level 10 or higher to use

everyone forgets now before v3 levels 1-7 went faster then you could blink, because everyone was centralized and you always coudl latch onto a group and go exploring
now you may have to spend some time at these lower levels with little coin and help, and without the coin you fall to the stronger dark ages hordes easier then before the war ended

I believe one should consider the amount of true that can be earned from gathering even at low levels. While it migth take some time to gather a box full of aloe, corn or another "easy" to get CNR. But in the end the service you sell to the other player is your time spend on gathering for a product for the said person not the actual IG cost. While this can be argued not to be true in crafts like enchantment where you pay a ton to get to a high level the true you have gathered for that is yet again a representation of the time you have spent on going to the level where you can make a good item for someone both in crafting, gathering and earning the true.
I do see a problem in people underestimating the value of their time in order to get more sales. Yes it might only take you some hours to make up a bit of cnr, but you have to consider that the time could be spend elsewhere maybe progressing in the craft (If you are crafting trivial stuff), adventuring with friends or RP'ing somewhere.
One of the good things suggested in the thread is to remove craftable stuff from the drop tables. Right now this has happened to adamantinium weapons as far as I understand. But I believe that most items except charged items could be removed for the benefit of the crafters. While it might be good to have something drop that you might need I believe that most of the people who see these drops doesn't need them at all. While it might further the RP about looting by the fact that some things might wear something special and all that I think that at the level where you get a drop like that you don't need it anyhow so you might as well pawn it or sell it at a far lower price than a crafter who spent time gathering and crafting the items.
