*sorry you feel that way Lonn*
It actually wasn't all THAT bad, I had a blast doing it. It was just the abundance of procedural paperwork that turned me off a bit. Though I do realize how it is necessary to maintain such a top-notch crew that you have now. I didn't mean to complain about the experience, just to point out how much time and effort this team puts into every step of the way. And honestly, way back when I was on staff we had a whole lot less tools than what we have available today. My brief stint was during the transitional period between handbook editions and when LORE was in its infancy, so I doubt it's as difficult to crosscheck and research submissions and quest info today as it was back then.
To all the players, know that this staff is the most hard-working and dedicated in the game. Keep that in mind when the GMs spend 4-hour stretches during their weekend prime-time for your entertainment! Not only are there hours spent setting up the plot, storyline, in-game placetables and NPC encounters prior to the quest, but there is also work after the fact to document each xp or item reward, list of players involved and summary of events. This is the best GMing team in the world and no amount of praise could be sufficient for the work they do here. And given Pseudonymn/Shadow's amazing abilities, doubly can be said for him!
