Mercenary work

Are players often lookin' for a Mercenary in Layonara? I mean, I know other players are looking for companions for this-and-that, and I could make some cash in that department, given some time to level up and develop my character accordingly, for tougher jobs. But, if I go into a town and RP as a Sword-for-hire lookin' for a job, should I expect some returns, RP-wise? =) Just wondering if anyone has had this sort of experience

It's definitely something you can pursue rp-wise.  People are often looking for a good blade-for-hire.  However, it takes a while to build reputation.  Go for it!  We'll look forward to the rp!

Very much so. You'd be surprised at the amount of blade-work that most need tended to. I'll keep an eye out for you.

Some of the player guilds need things collected and will pay. Most of these resources are guarded and groups going there..need mercenaries.
 
 The RP is the thing though even if you get a no thnaks..hopefully it will be a fun no thnaks and may lead to other things anyway!

Yeah, it's definitely something I'm whole-heartedly pursuing! I'll be around within the next few days (as soon as my NWN Diamond arrives) to lend my blades to any sorts of problems any of ye may be havin'
