Now if I was looking for an old dragon then I would start by seeking out the Golden Emerald, Yoggy to friends Yogoldrania if you want to avoid getten eaten. Get whatever alias it have been hiding under doing the ages, and then seek out information from the Speaker of Nature, and the aragonites. Dragons tend to leave giant footprints, baby dragons don't obiviously, anyhow you should be able to track down its old lairs that way *smiles innocent* if that doesn't work then you could climb up a tall tower and leap of the edge while screaming like a tasty snack...
