craftable elite armors?

8 ingots bronze
pattern for half plate
2 ingots silver

then take the ornate plate and enchant it with some essence of charm or something to add +1 charisma

Could make more varieties up to mithril each step takes more ingots of the rare metal (To make the next step you'd need iron instead of bronze, and gold instead of silver, etc.) and more essence to enchant but increases the charisma bonus, perhaps platinum, adamantium and mithril could add extra 1st, 2nd and 3rd level paladin spell slots as well?

Anyway, just thinking of items for paladins.

A couple? One is plenty. Otherwise it will just promote powergaming the crafting system to get the good stuff.

I think if the armor only gives a +1 Charisma bonus then no diamonds are required. It should just take a few enchanted ingots of gold or silver, these are quite difficult to get, harder than alexandrites but much easier then diamonds.

So i think the recipe would be something like this:

Ornate Bronze Half-Plate
-8 ingots of bronze
-pattern for half plate
-2 enchanted ingots of silver or gold

Maybe it would take a few Eagle's Splendor Alexandrites?
