What is wrong with me. All I think about is going back. To that "place". I should of never followed that ladys soul line in Hurm. When she went in to the coma I sould of left it alone, but I had to make sure she was ok.

What was that soul I saw, leading her soul away that left her body in the coma. As a mater of fact all the one's in a coma were there, But what was that place. I was happy, I had no saddness. It was like I was a child again with no worrys. I had to leave and help but I struggled with it. As I followed my soul strand back to my body, I could not stop thinking how peacefull it was. The though of Soyna and Serissa help me back. I am sure if the plugue is cured they will come back on there own also.

I want to go back so bad. I feel I left a peice of me there. I am sure it was not the heavens, and not the hells. I fear I will never be right again. The pressure I am under, all went away. I am sure it is not in the circle of life.

Elladan and Ireth were scared for me I am sure of it. Who would not be, if they seen another soul less body hit the ground inforunt of them, especality my soul less body. I had to do it to just make sure, I hope they understand. I did not tell them, I am sure I can find my way back to that "place". I will check with the head of the Toran Temple he may know something.

Well the search has turned up nothing so far for the parents of Soyna, she is grown up so quick. It seams like yesterday I was changing her, and feeding her from a bottle. She rolled over from her back to her her belly, wanting to crawly. She is strong and getting so big.

Serissa was over at the house the other day to vist me and Soyna. Soyna pulled herself up on the chair and tryed to walk to Serissa. Soyna almost had it to. We spent the next few hours working with Soyna. I was setting 5 feet away from Serissa. Soyna would take a step wobble a little then take another step. By the end of the day she was walking good. I placed a blanket in the floor with pillows. We all layed down. Serissa placed her head on my chest near Soyna, were Soyna sleeped like a rock. I had my whole world with me. Could not of been a beter day.

Ahh, Soyna spoke her first word today. She looked right at Serissa and called her mama. Serissa was smiling all day, she was very proud. I could not stop grining with pride. Serissa is talking to her in elvish so she will know common and elvish.

Serissa and I are took Soyna to the shop today. She had a ball playing with Farkas the shop dog. That dog is a big softy for kids. He let Soyna roam the shop keeping an eye for her for us. I found the tow of them in a conor of the shop a sleep. Soyna was using poor Farkas as a pillow but he did not mind. She did finaly call me dada. Both me and Serissa are so proud of her. She is growing in to a little women.

Soyna and I went for a ride on Wisper my horse. She loved it, we rode for a hour. She laughed and smiles the whole time. I think I will buy her a pony when she gets a little older. Soyna is speeking Elvish as well as she speaks common. She is very smart for her age. I was going over her ABC's when she got the the letter Q, she sayed that is my daddy's name. She can spell her own name, Serissa, and mine. My gosh were is the time going. We need to set the date for me and Serissa to be married. I think Soyna could do something at the wedding. Maybe walk the rings in.

Mean as can be during his time as an undead slayer, soft and gental as a teddy bear at home. One of my undead slayer told me. I made him do 100 pushup and 200 setups, but he is right. Some say with Soyna in my life I have become a better "Hand" becouse I want the world safe for her. When I am at home with Soyna, and when Serissa is over I am a teddy bear.

I had my friend Barion take two large shields, and one small sheild. Bend over some and flaten some sharp edges to the shield. I took Serissa and Soyna to the snow. We found a nice hill and we rode the sheilds down. Serissa was frowning a bit becouse it was cold, but after a few time down we were all laughing and smiling have a great time. Soyna even sayed a few word in elvish to me. Did not understand them but Serissa was smiling and gleming in pride I know she had spoke the right.

Lex has come to me asking questions about becomeing an undead slayer, the usual questions. I will see how bad he wants this, I will train him a bit. I think I have got him started on the path to undead slaying. He is a bit scared, but so was I the first few times I went out. I do see some in him, like me he will have a hard time being a cleric but I belive he has what it takes. Now to see if he can handle it. First stop the crypts in Hlint.

Lex did great in the crypts in Hlint. I have deside to take him under my wing and help in quest to become an undead slayer. I have started him under his way. I has set up time for me and his to meet once or twice a week. I took him hunting monsters. Explaining there is not much different between certion undead monsters. First lesson was when to try to turn undead and the advantages of make them scared of you when a lot attack you at once. Next stop will be when the dire woods, I will show him a few of the thing I know about spectors. Lex is picking up so fast I am sure he will have little problems. He weilds the staff well, but I am not sure yet if it the right tool to be used in undead hunting.

Humm, Lex has shown the ablity to pick up the rules od undead slaying quickly. He has gone beyond what I though he could do. I dont have much more I could teach him. I have tough him every thing I can with out going in to the secrets of the Shinning Hand. I would of made him a member long ago if he was a Toranite. He has passed the tests I have placed him throw. May he find what he seeks in a path of an undead slayer.

It has been such a long time I have written in this book. I just found it the other day.

A few nights back I noticed I was being followed. *grins a bit as he is writting* At first I was not sure who it was. So I ducked in to the crypts of Velh. Used one of a couple of potion of Invisablity I always keep on me. Then I circled back. Not a big shock to me it was Tristen, Rains boy.

Tristen and Soyna are all was playing together. There never far a part from each other when there both out.

So I though I would give him a bit of a show. I let a few of the skeltons follow me out, and let them have the first couple of swigs on me before I turned then in to dust.

If he is brave enough to follow me, but he stays hidden. I will let him for now. I will have to talk to Dad and Mom. They can not keep him from life. He is growing in to a good man.

*sighs a bit* Rain will not be happy.

Well, well, well. This time not only Tristen but Soyna followed me too. What am I going to do with those too. They still dont know I know but it should be intresting when I ask the both of them. I will wait untill there together just to see the shock. Oh, well could be worse. I will find Rain and tell him today. I have been putting it off, becouse Tristen has showed such intrest in the feild of undead slaying. He asks me questions about undead all the time.

I was sent a letter by Cal my mother, she sayed it was ergent for me to meet here at the Temple in Llast. I could not wait to see her and Soyna. It had been such a long time since I had seen they. I stoped long enough to get flower's for the both of them.

Reaching the gates to Llast on my horse Wisper I saw Cal waiting for me. She was walking back and forth, which worried me.

As I approched her I saw the tears in her eyes. She told me some younger Toranites training to be Shinning Hands went out on there own. One of there class mates over heard them talking about nameless. They left thinking they could handle it by themselfs with out there teacher.

Before she could tell Me I promised I would find them. I was sure they would be fine.

Then she told me Soyna was one of the young ones. I was shocked, not my daughter. How come Cal was not watching her grand daughter beter. I drop the flowers and rode for the gate.

I will ride throw the night and the day to get there..

This is not good, I reached Nameless in record time but I had no sight of the young ones. I found sings of them entering here. There are dead monsters all over the place. I followed throw the cave, I ran in to no problems. When I reached the entrance, my heart stoped. Sreaded clothing, the young ones shields and weapons spread throw out the entrance. Looks like they were spoted. I dont see any bodys. Were are they.

Reaching the conor and pearing around it, I seen Two vampires. They were standing by a dead body. I am sure they used the poor kid for food. I noticed the clothing, a toran robe. I ran towards the vampires slicing them in half. Takeing out the wooden stakes and staking the vampires I check the body.

Not Soyna. I read the rights of Toran to the young one then I staked him. There mat still be hope Soyna is alright. They may have her.

I have been searching and clearing these rooms for hours. How many young ones came. There bodys are apread throw out. But still no Soyna. My hope is starting to dwindle away. I would say between 14 to 16 vampires I took down so far.

I happen to find a secret door. It lead to a larger room. It was there feeding room. And they were feeding. 20 to 25 vampires were feeding. Then I saw it. The head of the Clan setting on a chair over by the wall. My heart sunk to a low. Soyna was setting next to him feeding.

I ran in to the middle of the room and cast cleanse droping all the vampires in the feed area. Not touching Soyna or the leader of the clan with it. It was the leader of the clan and me standing against each other. I was able to defeat him easy.

But Soyna did not change back. She had feed and became a vampire. I did my duity. I did my duity.. Allway my duity..

*Q rides up with Wisper pulling a cart behind him to the gates of Llast. Cal gets word Q is comming to the gates. She runs to meet him, but Q will not pass throw the gates and waits for Cal to come to him.*

"Quantum did you find them?" Cal yells to him.

"I did" Quantum frowns

"Quantum, Quantum were is Soyna?" Cal yells running towards the cart.

Quantum can not say another word, as Cal get close. Cal looks in to the back of the cart. Seeing Soyna laying there died, with the stake in her.

"Quantum!!!!! what happened" Call repeats over and over.

Quantum looks to her "I did my duity, mom". Tears stream down Q's face.

Cal looks to Q "I am so sorry, Quantum come in to the temple. We will lay her to rest" Inbetween her sobs and the tears running own her face.

Quantum shakes his head "Mom I will lay her to rest, I will do i myself."

"Mom" Q says as he hands her a note "I wrote this, this is my report. Goodbye mom"

Not another word is sayed as he urges Wisper to pull the cart foward.

Cal opens the note and can not read past the first few words. I was just doing my job and duity. She can hear Q sing the Toran Death song as the cart moves farther and farther.

*Q unlocks the door and opens the door to his house in Krandor and opens it slowly peering around the conor to make sure no one or thing is there*

My books, got to find my book.

*Peering out to the cart and in to the darkness he feels it is save to enter the house and leave Soyna there, he rushs to his desk and sits down*

"All my books on Vampires" Q says in a harsh voice.

*One at a time the books fly off the book shelves and land at his desk, Q grabs one and thumbs throw it*

"No, Vampires, Vampires, Yes, No" Q says in a harsh voice

*One by one the books are flung across the room hittind either the wall or another book shelve, they fly from the floor to there spot on the shelve. Q opens and thumbs many books, untill he reaches the book he wanted*

"Staking a Vampire, they may seam dead they are not dead. If the stake is pulled there bodys start to repair themselfs and injurys. A Vampire can become awake from 2 to 24 hours after it is pulled from there chests" Q reads from the book.

*He scans a bit further in the book*

"Once one has take the blood becouse of there thurst, there is no way to cure one" Q reads on. "Come on, which book is it think, think, think" hit his head with his palm.

"I need to know about once one is turned in to a vampire what of there soul" Q barks out.

*But no book flys to his desk this time, Tears start to fall. He stands up slowly and walks with his shoulder hunched. He is a beaten man. He has failed once again. He leaves the frount door open sits on the cart.*

"Slayer" He speaks softly

*His staff flys to his hand, he sits it next to him and Wisper his horse start pulling the cart once again.*

// sorry for the Occ, but I am throwing a waver up. This is only Q's personal feeling on the matter. Just becouse you read something it does not make it true. If you notice Q throw many books to the walls and to the floor. Though they had truths in them, they were not the truths he want to read. He was reading what he wanted to read. Just like that old saying you only hear what you want to hear, well this is for reading. It did not matter if the books were lies or truths he was going to belive it. Again I am sorry for the waver.

I heard a noise yesterday at least I think it was yesterday. Time seams to stop here in the crypt. I looked up and though I saw a vampire comming to take Soyna. I rushed out. And tryed to cleanse the area. I guess I was just to weak becouse I passed out after I felt my life force leave me.

When I woke I found Anna had layed my head in her lap. We talked for a long time. We tryed to figure out what to do with Soyna. She told me she would help me in what ever way she could. She had to leave to get home Lindel her son.

Not to long after that, Abi found me also. I go to hide Soyna body in the only crypt I dont think is used much, and it turns in to a main throbread for visiters. She also told me she wants to help. I dont know if they can.

I have though about pulling the stake. I have though about placeing her body in the sun light to see what happens. I have cast every spell I know to find out something. Anything. But I am a failure. I guess once a failure always a failure.

I will go back to praying Toran will give me his will to be done.

I must be going crazy now every noice I hear.. Ugg.. I will have to do something soon. I hear I see Vampires. I labor over what to do. I pray and pray. But what am I to do. I have lost one wife to the war with Blood, one to the Ronfiren church, and two daughters.

Should I give it all up, and retire from this life. Find me a life of my own? Or should I join them, the soul mother has visited many times. Maybe go hunting a new emeny. I wish it could be that easy, I have so much I have to do. Allways for other people. Always for some cause. It is time for me to find a new cause the Q cause. Ya the Q cause.

But I can not, I have duity, and honor to Toran. Toran first. Always Toran first.

I must get back to praying he will guide me......
