Well. As was said earlier the blue dragon has been attacked. This time it was able to repell the attack. What makes you think that will happen again? Either the dragons get better protected or we might as well not bother about the alliance any longer.
I say let us propose the plan to them.

*Eldárwen reads the sign carefully and picks up her quill to sign her name with the others. She hesistates briefly and her eyes warm. Putting the quill to the parchment she does not sign her name, instead simply scribes:*
"Good Luck dear friend, Lucinda watch over you."

*Written in a firm, flowing hand*
Rhizome, as my companions have already stated, simply point and we will go as you direct.
May Aeridin bless our endeavor.

Rhizome looks around at faces who have responded, most with a respectful nod. After a few of the comments he turns slightly and looks reflective. After a few moments of silence he begins to talk slowly and calmly.
He looks at Quintayne and smiles respectfully. "Sir, thank you for your input. I agree that what I propose will be difficult to say the least. Something, however, must be done."
From afar it looks like he mutters to himself. Those close enough hear a few chanted words. "Sitting and waiting on another day, just wont work. We've got to put our shoulders to the wheel and make a turn. Life is here for living, as we must learn. We've got to reach deep down into our hearts and make a change."
He then turns quickly to Brac'ar and speaks with deep respect. "My good friend Fireface, I'd like to address a few of your comments. First, if Bloodstone doesn't know where all the dragons are by now, then his spying and information is so poor we should hardly worry about him at all. But indeed we should worry. By now the locations of all the dragons, save the shadow perhaps, are nearly common knowledge. If Sinthar doesn't know today, he'll know tomorrow."
"In terms of the dragon's habitats, yes, well, of course I'm aware of that. However, temporary discomfort would surely be perferrable to being Sinthar's prey. I'm thinking that perhaps some caves in the lower elevations, near the coast, various other places might be suitable. I'd like to hear yours, and others', comments on this."
"It is good that many of us agree. It is even better that those who don't feel free to voice their concerns. I will not let the issue rest. For even at the end of this session of reasoning my plan is determined to be a detriment, then another course of action should take its place rather than letting ourselves be cursed to inaction."
Then he steps aside and lets another take the floor.

*in her wanderings Yashilla stumbles across the meeting and hears some of the conversation*
I will seek the Lady of the Sea in prayer for the dragons for protection while crossing the seas to firesteep. I am hopeful and confident that my prayer will be heard.

If all is to be well my friend the world will know a new draconic age. The metallics of old shall return and what was the end for bloodstone in his quest shall truely be HIS end. We are close perhaps then you may cast off the ivy you feel grows at your feet and turn the wheel you seek to turn. It is my hope they shall call for it and we shall answer. I do not condemn your action I believe you know this. Nor do suggest you are not aware of the risks. I merely seek to give voice to what little wisdom I have in the matters of dragons as it seems some are already your thoughts I implore you to give them further thought before you act. Much is on the horizon. A brief pause to see how things are about to change my friend patience but a moment longer.

*He looks out with a slight yet somehow stern smile*
My old friend, the horizon is quite simply always on the horizon. It will never arive unless we walk towards it. The metallic dragons you speak of will likely find their time on Layonara short if Bloodstone turns his attention to them. His attention may already be drawn to them, but will surely be if we sit idly by and allow his current targets, the chromatics, to be erradicated. What's more, without both camps of dragons, there will be no balance. Without this balance, our doom is at hand. Aerdin himself has communicated this to me in one of my meditations.
*Then he looks around to the others who have spoken and nods a few times as he talks*
Comrades, the time is at hand. I suggest that we start by a visit to Firesteep and speak with the current occupant there. Success will hinge on his cooperation, and may be accomplished through that alone. And I suggest we do this soon. Prepare yourselves for the dangerous trek. And when you are ready, we will depart.
//After some breif coordination with the GM staff, this event will be posted on the calendar. When it is, I will post again here to inform people. Scheduling will depend on who is available to help out with this quest. Multiple sessions in different time zones may be possible. Thanks for your patience.

Again, Brac'ar stands and raises his voice. "Honored friend and tree-lover " he chuckles at Rhizome, "I still believe it is too risky. We can never create a large enough diversion that will have all eyes of all Blood's forces focused on us. Take into account that for most dragons, flying to firesteep would take days, which is plenty of time for them to be spotted by one of Blood's scouts. Also, if I understood correctly, there are no plans for diversions during the time the dragons are visited again, turning his eyes to the dragons once more. Because at the moment, he might not consider the dragons a big threat as he has just killed off the green."
Taking a sip of water, Brac'ar continues: "Instead, we should provide him with a threat that's bigger than the dragons, something he can focus on which would be far more dangerous to him than the dragons that are left. I believe that threat would need to come from us. Destroying his troops north of Arabel as well as the troop tansport sounds like a good start. Removing the troops that are outside of Bloody Gate would be a second.
That would show him that there are more threats than just dragons and might keep him occupied with his troops for a while longer."
Having said his piece, Brac'ar sits down again.
