Creatures - Mosquito Swarm - cannot click on

you cant click on this thing to target it.

It's likely because it has no model, just a Vfx as its body.

This isn't a bug. Pardon the pun. Its how its supposed to work.

AoE magic and AoO only. Its a swarm of mosquitoes, swinging your sword at it isn't going to do much.

i'd think that some targetable spells (combust, burning hands, color spray etc) would be effective as well, but you can't target them on a point on the ground (I may have chosen incorrect examples... since I'm not positive you cant cast burning hands and color spray on the ground.)

Also my AA fireball is a ranged touch so I have to target it on something I cant target it on the ground.

Perhaps they could be made clickable but immune to all physical damage.  That way the burning swath of a flaming sword would be able to damage them as well.  Electricity would work too (think bug zapper) cold maybe, but probably not acid as it seems more dependant on touching to do the damage.

I like them as they are, was quite used to those buggers on some other server...

 It's a different sort of creature, and variety is welcome.

Not positive about Color Spray, but I'm quite certain that Burning Hands can be targeted anywhere (ground, creature, etc.)

  Yeah, I like it as it is now. Talan, I don't think your Fireball thingie really needs to work on em... grab any wizard, sorcerer, cleric, or druid, and you'll take them out fairly quickly.

Maybe make them do 1d1 point of damage or something then? It seems rather unfair to me that there is a monster out there that can (and has) killed me that is immune to anything I can do to it (with a paladin character at level 3) Maybe unfair isn't quite the right word. Plus, placing them near Jasmine, they kill me before I can complete the quest. Not only that... but a swarm of mosquitos? annoying, but hardly deadly, Louisiana this aint. Could we at least move them somewhere that isn't right next to a quest NPC?

I put them there to encourage not going and completing the quest by yourself by sneaking through the swamps at Level 3.  The necklace you get from Jasmin is even Level 4 required if I recall.

Okie, I can see that, I actually had a guide to get there, but he couldn't do much either, I don't think he died. I dunno, guess I don't have to like it eh?
