[Zen]

While I slept I was plucked from my room and deposited here by a Gold Dragon or was it just a dream? I have learned of a new place with few Dwarves and this place I will make my home for now.

Now I have no guidance, no teachers, no brothers. I will do all I can to become a monk of legend, one of the few, a "Brother of Battle" for Vorax.

I have met a few Dwarves and that makes feel better. Gloin a battle priest of Vorax. And some that follow Dorand. I also met one that if back at home I would have avoided, but I am realizing that here in this place I need all the alies that I can get. Even if they worship *spits* Az'atta. He is a priest of that foul god, Darren V. now what was that last name.

A strange thing of note wile with Daren V. I fell in battle thinking I was to meet Vorax but at the last second Daren brought me back from the edge of death. His god could not have liked this as Vorax and her are not on good terms. Yet this human sacrificed himself and mabie even favor of his god for me. I will have to think more on this.

The Priest I have met and has rased me 6 times so far is Daren Valhaikor. I think I can now call him friend as he has stated to me that just because Vorax and Az'atta do not get along that is no reason for us not to be friends, a bold statement at that. He has told me of his upcomming wedding to Jil and Jil does not follow any God, this is truly a strange place.

I have now met many more Dwarves, Elves, Humans, some Halflings, even some Drow, and a few Giants well HalfGiant so they cant be all bad I guess. I do not trust all of them but I do trust a fewfrom the other races. I have not met a Dwarf that is untrustworthy thus I trust them all, so far.

I have decided to strive to become a Brother of Battle after a dream I just had. It was a voice that spoke Dwarven saying that he was VORAX and that if I want to be in his Masonic Order the Brothers of Battle that I must not use a Helm or any weapon of any kind. I had just compleated a quest that made the helm that I use much stronger and I was just getting good at the throwing stars. But alas I will follow my God's wishes. I will become a Brother of Battle to honor Vorax.

I have been striving to do good at all times.

I have helped many adventurers new to this land. Even halfgiants but not any Orcs *spits* and have even met a halfgiant named Pig that worships Vorax, even though he cqalls him "Papa Battle" you can hear the respect in his voice. And it is really something to see Pig walk around carring Voraxs flag.

I have descovered that their is a Monestary of Vorax somewhere on Dregar that one could call Brothers of Battle headquarters. Hopefully Vorax will deem me worthy soon and I will be able to visit it.

I wss almosst der 'n oi ran across one bugbear dat oi nay could hurt. Dat bugbear's caln took Grimlok. I nay see wat wai dai wentt 'n I prayed ta Vorax foa 'elp en fiounden Grimlok. I den prayed ta me ancesteras for guidence ta fiond dem bugbears.

Da nex dai we 'ad da ceromonioy. At dat da Stone Palm gav me mi neu naiome o Garnet Stone Soul. 'N I 'ad ta giv 'im a prayer foa "da mantle o rank" a cloak frum Vorax 'n wen da Braddas putt me praya on da claasp I den goen gett me cloak.

I feel that my lessons in common are almost to an end. I think that Jil's Dwarven is good enough to talk to her in Dwarven all the time now but, I still need to learn the finer parts of common.

It has been fun babysitting these last 4 years. I never knew that young ones could be so much fun and so exausting. I wish that I had her energy all the time *chuckles to himself* I ould never need sleep as I do now just short naps. And all the practice that I get with Jil when that dear baby lass is sleeping or playing quietly has helped us both to speak and further understand. Both Jil and Daren are the best non-dwarf friends that I have here.

I have met a young Dwarf lad named Beli Tenker. Beli told me that my friend Jil told him of me. This Beli has requested to become a Brother of Battle and I am determened to help him in any way that I can. I have started Beli's training though Vorax's Avatar has not visited him as of yet. Beli might just be to young but as I have not receved any stop order from the "Brothers" I will keep helping this lad along.

I have now met Mourendoum 'Garkaarzia' Rosloviggen a second young Dwarven lad that is aspiring to be a Brother of Battle. I wonder if this is a test from Father Battle himself?
Well I have taken Mourendom "under my wing" as I have heard humans say another apprentice, I'm starting to enjoy the added teaching as its fun and I learn alot too.

Now I hear a famillar voice just as I am waking, but I see noone. Wait he is speaking a mixed version of old and new Dwarvish, HEY it must be the Avatar! (In Dwarvish) How have you been friend? What Vorax needs a young mortal to do things only a mortal can? Yes I will do I have time to leave notes for ...... Garnet vanishes with the Avatar

Finally back and what am I forgetting? I have 2 apprentices yes, and a ox .... no well I thought I did, guess not. I might need one so to the bank I go .... what no gold! Now that ain't right or did I spend it all? Humm ... the bank chest is empty too, and why do I have all these crafting tools and Tiger 'n small dire hydes? I dont remember doing any crafting, but I do remember having gold ... at least I think I did?

*Leaves the bank to gather his thoughts* Lets see I am a Orc Basher so am I just a salesDwarf? Whenever I talk to anyone they all want me to do jobs for them, this is strange that I havent done any of this yet? The last thing I remember is ........ oh yea Vorax's Avatar came to ask me to help him with stuff he needed a mortal to do. But what did I do? I can't remember. *notices a few friends, some Dwarf, some not  look puzzled as they walk by*

Jil walks up to me and asks why I am mumbling sush strange things in Dwarven? Oh was I speaekin Dwarven? Sorry *looks sad* Jil asks what is wrong as she and Daren missed me  'n Shyran misses her uncle, am I mad at them? I say I don't think so and how is da bonny baby *with a smile* Jil is now looking puzzled like the others and saing that the baby just turned 8 years old. Then asks where I have been these last 2 years? Hearing that I fall down to my back prone, sit up, take a deep breath, 'n ask if she has ever seen me do any crafts? Jil laughs so hard she said I made her head hurt. Yes she said, Tailoring - Fishing - Tinkering - 'n Gems mostly according to Jil. But I don't remember any of that stuff. I tell Jil I will be by the house soon to visit and talk but, now I had things to do. I apoliguse for her head hurting *she gives me a hug* and I walk away to the east.

I have chosen to do crafting in: Fishing; Alchmy; Cooking; Gems; and Taloring.

I have seen alot of friends lately most very old friends but I still make a few new ones. I think I will visit my neece Shyran soon well tomarrow. I am doing what I can to help out now that "Blood" is gone.

And I have cleared the Broken Forest once with the healing and protection of a Drow cleric that I know. This was done on a rescue mission and all went well.

Now I hope that I will be more usefull after I get my new necklass that is being made.

Finally back home! I have been gone far too long. Beli has been accepted as a Stonewill as I am told, can't wait to see my new master! I just hope he and all my friends can forgive my absence. I think it was truly a waste of time. Called away to do nothing! Bahh, so lets see what to do?
