This is how it's going to be,
Now that you do not have me,
You have him and you should be happy,
I have no one and I'm feeling crappy,
Is thei how this will end?
Or will we just try to be friends?
I do not want to be your friend,
I do not want for this to end,
But this is how it's going to be,
Now that you do not have me.
I was always there for you,
While you said "I love you too",
Now that you don't seem to care,
I won't always be right there,
This is how it's going to be,
You left me feeling crappily,
I don't know why I stuck around,
After everytime I'd hit the ground,
Because you have caused me this pain,
I don't know what to do but refrain,
From talking to you.
All you did was treat me wrong,
Now you realize that I'm gone,
I hope you realize what you lost,
Because relationships come at a cost,
But this is how it's going to be,
Now that you are not with me,
I never thought we'd be apart,
But you went and broke my heart.
I never thought that this would end,
I should of listened to my friend,
Everything they said was true,
Even when I was with you,
Maybe I was blind to see,
That you were not the one for me,
I don't know what I didn't see,
They would never lie to me,
Now that I am feeling crappy,
You are feeling pretty happy,
Love can be blinding,
And that's what I'm finding,
This is how it's gonig to be,
Even when you're not with me,
I don't know what to trust or believe,
Everything is so hard to concieve,
If your love was true,
Then I would be with you,
Maybe you haven't a clue,
But I've done so much for you,
Maybe you are too blind to see,
Everything you've done to me,
You'll realize how good it was to be with me,
I'll probably become a faint memory,
But this is how its going to be,
Because you don't seem to care for me...
This was my first poem I ever wrote. I was 17 at the time.
