If you dont want the two numbers I chose for you  # 34 & #76 (because the ones you asked for were reserved, then I chose for you since the tickets were selling so fast) please let me know and I will put those tickets back up for sale.

// thank you all for buying tickets... I guess 4,000 wasnt such a big issue... like I said I learned from the last one that it should have been higher.

I wil announce soon when the drawing will take place.

// to all those who missed out on getting tickets... well I am sorry. I didnt expect them to sell this fast.... at half price it took a couple days last time.... this time it took a few hours... (and people dont think too much coin is out there   heheh)

Thanks again folks... I will announce the drawing date as soon as I have all the arangements made!!!

//Begin Rant.

I know many people missed out on getting tickets to this raffle... I had no idea that it would sell out in 3.5 hours!!!

I have heard people say that I should have limited the number of tickets one person could buy.... but WHY a month ago when I asked for input on this very issue... the only ones who bothered to speak up said 5 was fine? (SEE LINK)

http://www.layonaraonline.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=21693&posts=5&start=1

Cant win I guess...

I have learned more from this one... that I will apply the next one now.

Again to all those who missed out.... im sorry. But what more can I do?  I cant force anyone to give tickets back... even though I did just that myself.

I do plan on adding a few more items to the Dice Rolls that will happen durring the raffle... so come attend the event... have some FREE food and drinks..... and maybe walk away with even more than you expected.

// END RANT...

Hope to see many at the drawing!!!

 I guess it further proves that there is too much currency in circulation. :(

Perhaps you could limit to one (or two per person) now so that others can participate? If you haven't paid yet, you can only get a limit of two? Just an idea.

To be honest I think it should be left as it is. Those who haven't got tickets will have to miss out this time, and those of us who have them just got lucky.

I think the better approach would be to take notes and alter the next one you do accordingly, rather than taking tickets back from the people who have already reserved them, simply to suit a few people who missed their chance (for whatever reason).

I'm not saying this to try and influence anything to my advantage (I only got two anyway, so a limit of two wouldn't change anything) but I don't think it's fair on the people who have already made their reservations if they are then told that they can't have X amount. As Guardian said, he had no way of knowing that they would sell out so fast, and it shouldn't be his responsibility to change the "rules" to suit the people who didn't get there on time.

Just my thought ;)

 *nods* i think it does.   The last raffle had tickets for sale for 2000 coins for several days before they sold out...  But this will do a great job of taking currency out of circulation and being fun,  I think a lesson here is that tickets should have cost 8000 or 6000 coins each... working more on the above point, as well as letting more people purchase fewer tickets each

Not sure if its possible, but maybee it could be during a weekend, because that way the timezone wont matter for many people, and we could all attend. Just a suggestion

The only time I can commit un-interupted with out hauling my girls to and from school, ballet, tap, jazz, tumbling, or swimming lessons is 9 PM CST to 2 AM CST

The raffle will take place in this time window... but if more people can attend on Saturday or Sunday then PLEASE SAY SO..... dont complain later on.

Use those voices :)

I dont care much what day the raffle takes place.... but the time is 9PM CST. Mr. Mom duties take priority  :)

[big]How about I make a POLL? what ever day has the most votes... I will use.... sound fair?[/big]

Votes for saturday, when your doing times like 9pm cst, sundays, then people with a job or school or any degree of commitment needs to get to bed early. So saturday is just a perfect time. I really want to see this through. Btw how do we handle it when a winning number is drawn and its one of your Alt characters that have bid on it. I can only be there with one at the time. Log them both at the inn or?

//Please remove Tath's reserved tickets as well. He's got pleny and can provide for himself just fine, I would rather see other, newer characters, get a prize. Thanks.

Dont want to hijack this thread, but another lottery/raffle is allready being planned by Kobal.
  So I guess those who missed out this time must just keep their eyes open for his one.
