I think that I shall never see a sunset as beautiful as thee,
Nor daffodils or silky lace as lovely as your tumbling tresses,
Nor sparkling swells of azure seas as stirring as your soulful eyes,
Nor find a match among fine wines to the taste of your sweet lips.
I wonder if the fancy of Fate shall leave me only this memory,
Of times in orchards, stores, forests, parks, & sly falcon messages,
Of stolen touches & sultry kisses reigned in by inevitable goodbyes,
Of soft embraces in our own special dances of glides & slides & dips,
I hope that this dream will always be a part of my reality,
And our love will continue to ripen far into wisdom's harvest of age,
And our friends and faiths will celebrate the whimsical legality
That tossed together in enduring rapture a holy warrior and his mage.
