It was a good time today, guys. Some nice tension early on, and even better the eventual cohesion. It took us a while, but we managed to organize even the most haphazard of groups to create a successful expedition. I hope to see you all next time.

I was very pleased to see how well such a large group functioned.... the only death was andraia's when one of those trolloc buggers decided it could see thru my G-sanc and kept shooting those deadly arrows

Then one more fell in the wind cave.... dont like that lightining eh?

But even with that the group planned and executed a flawless rescue opperation.

Thanks to everyone who joined us today in the Expeditions to the East I've been organizing. I'm taking a moment to post level requirement guidelines I will be strictly following from here on out with these adventures. Expeditions to East Server: Level 20+. If you are Levels 17-19 you may go with us occasionally to East. By this I mean no more than once every two weeks. I'll keep record of who attended, based on my logs of these, so we can all be on the same page. It's my understanding that what I've specified above is a general guideline for playing your characters on East. Note that here, I took liberty to define "occasionally" for the sake of these trips as once every other week. While I am doing two expeditions per week, one of them will be for original level range I specified, namely Level 15+. We will hold these on the Central server somewhere. Level 15 +

Thank you for setting up, and managing this!

Right now for me these trips fall smack dab in a butter zone that I have to be on Layo. (todays ran long... and yes I got "The Look" from my wife again).

Thanks again for setting this up. Todays group had a level spread to it but I though people did well, and the group certainly meshed as far as battle was concerend!

My biggest problem was lag.... if we would have had anymore people in the group I dont think I could have functioned at all... as it was EVERY fight was a slide show on my screen... I even knocked down all my video settings half way thru (which I think made me crashy!) with no help.... all those spell effects, stacked with all those people moving... friends and enemies.... its brutal. So far I have seen few deaths and I dont think many if any could be blamed on lag.... I'd hate to start seeing people getting wipped out because of lag.

So.... I hope the group size stays firm and y'all stand by it... and that the players who dont go (which might be me even!) are understanding when they cant attend.

Actually, using an alternating schedule for levels below 20 will keep the numbers down, even from what they have been. I think this will work out well. Also, I think we should try and plan for trips to be no longer than four hours doses max, because for our characters, that is one heck of a strenuous trip, and for us as players, after four intense hours of exploration, combat, and strategy, the brain is in dire need of rest.

I'm finishing up some work I had started - given that the servers were/are down. Just a heads up that my plans are to hang out in Arabel, as Ael, for 15-20 minutes in about 90 minutes from now (assuming the servers are back up). I'm writing this at 20:47 gmt. If the servers aren't up at that time, then the plan is to wait in Arabel for 15-20 mins after they're back on-line.

Just letting you know in case you are able to make it.

I hope to make future trips with you. I think the 4 hour mark is a good one that we all should be mindfull of. That really is a long time for our characters!

Also I think that the push forward should be decreased... and IMO that will allow the level of RP to increase. Im not saying sit around so long things respawn on our heads... but for example when the group finds a place to rest that really is safe with no respawn near by (which I know isnt always an option). Thet instead of a mad rush to R&R (Rest and Recast).... everyone takes some time to flex their RP muscles!

I'll keep these times in mind for upcoming weeks.

However, my schedule for this Tuesday requires me to start my Layo time no earlier than mid-afternoon, my time, likely later. So to play it safe, I've moved this to 18:30 cst, or 23:30 gmt. Sorry to my friends in Europe and similar time zones.
