As of late me see many kill the treeants ower those aloe that grow dere in high forest, What me think many of you that do this should think of is, the treeants plant and make the Aloe grow dere, If there be no Treeants, in time there will be no Aloe... Me will pass the drawn pictures of those iwe seen dere to de druids... Stop hurting the Treeants in their own grove...

What's next a movement to save the ogers? Yes, some may come to the Treants seeking access to the aloe, but mostly we slay the Treants to release the evil spirits that have taken over the kindly trees.  Last I checked Treants were evil entities plaguing the forests, not benevolant creatures to be protected.  Do not assume all things that walk in the forest must be protected. Maev, I have encountered several different (clearly different) types of Treants... The ones in the High Forest seem to be the Treants of legend; the kindly, gentle folk whose only violence is against those who come to disturb them (such as adventurers and alchemists seeking reagents for potions).

I've encountered another in the Forst of Mists... Those are not a type to trifle with, and simply ooze malevolence.

Actually there was a young lady in Hint recently, canvasing to save the ogres.  She was very adamant, and stuburn in ideology too.

You know though, Tree Ents are not evil by nature, unlike their cousins, the Dark Ents.  *smirks* The Tree Ents job is to protect the forest.  If the tree ent is attacking you, then you must be an enemy of the forest.  If can accept being an enemy of nature, then oh kay.

Toran forgive me, the only walking trees I've encountered where in the Dark Forest. I assumed, one possesed tree was like another.  I've not met the guardians of the aloe and assumed that they were no different than the those cursed souls wandering the Dark Forest. Considering yourself an enemy of the forest is a touch extreme.  There are those creatures who purport to "defend the forests" and are far too overzealous in their actions, quite content to slay any crossing their borders without consideration for who or why.  In such cases, my simplest suggestion, if making favorable arrangements for both sides of the clash (treants generally have little use for coin, but perhaps you might offer a service in its stead for exchange of some aloe), is not possible, perhaps you should either find another source for what you seek, or merely travel unobtrusively.

What im trying to say is, doesnt matter if the tree ents are agresive or not, thats not the point, point is THEY live there, if i stompered into your home and and started taking things from your home, youd get pretty upset as well... And they do plant aloe and take care of that part of the forest, if we kill them off, who knows suddenly there wont be any tree ents there OR ALOE... Actions do have consequenses !

Not every one can mine or work with wood... Those persons need to ask others to help them get or trade the things they need... Those who cant mine usually dont cut down the miner and take the ore ?... If some tried, im sure there be lots of solutions to get aloe, or to buy it...

I was there, and what she was saying was not about *saving* ogres or anybody. Merely she was saying that  *thinks carefully trying to recall what she said*... killing without the need to do so is an evil act.

Please don't bother tree ants.  They is good people, just scared and kind of mads because so many peoples run roughshods..
