Very good here. There have been lots of good experiences, a few bad ones that were actually good ones but I didn't realize it until later and one or two bad ones that were bad. As someone that played NWN modules extensively before joining the Layo player base, it was very hard for me at first to wrap my head around the fact that all those bodies running around actually had bodies sitting on the other side of a monitor just like me. Being so used to static interaction, having a living breathing human to deal with was a bit intimidating. The concept of having a DM behind the scenes interacting at times was even harder to come to terms with. A couple of times I found myself asking whether the DM was out to get me. I came to the conclusion that it was more that I was out to get myself and once that realization hit, life got easier. In all, I would say I have been treated fairly, and in most cases, beyond fairly or what I had expected. Quests have been well thought out and have had many unexpected twists, even the impromtu ones, and if bad things happened, it was because of my own carelessness or stupidity rather than because of being treated unfairly. More often than not, the problems I have experienced are more with game mechanics, server limitations, and limitations of my own hardware rather than issues of DM interaction.
