I believe demons and dragons do the.. encounter as Dorganath said while in a humanoid shape, they can do such things, or some of them can. At least that is the dnd version.

As was stated before, there's absolutely no precedent in any fantasy setting for dwarves breeding with other, non-dwarven races.  D&D 3rd Edition doesn't support it.

Not quite.

In D&D 3rd Edition, there were stats given for Derro, which are suggested to be human-dwarf hybrids.

However, they also happen to be monstrous humanoids, and also incurably insane without magical intervention of such power as Wish or Miracle.  Take that as you will. ;)

On a random sidenote... anyone ever read about Kendelfs? Kenders (Dragonlance's name for a spaz of a Halfling) that mated with Elves to make a Kendelf.

I hear they were killed on birth.

Yeah, they turned out like those mountain cannibals in The Hills Have Eyes... mixed with the subterranean beasts in The Time Machine.  Not even humanoid at that point, more like abberational monstrous midgets.

So please, do not crossbreeed the dwarves.

Anyone remember Dark Sun Fantasy setting?  Mul - 1/2 dwarf /1/2 human.  So its not entirely unprecendented.   ;)

Ok, if you have a half dwarf from an obscure setting published in 1986, it will be grandfathered in, but only to the pnp tabletop game it came from and not to the campaign on the server.  Layo dwarves only make dwarf babies.  Any halfbreeds in the timeline were devoured by Ozymandius during the great drought of '106, which was not so much of a drought but just 3 consecutive days in which it did not rain.

There is a mongrelman in Arabel who might qualify kind of, but his bloodline is so polluted we think he's just a very ugly, bartending dog that was birthed from a fish.  Smells like one.

Fine fine...I retract my "unprecedented" comment...
  But it's still not happening.
And I always saw Derro as an unnatural crossing, not a product of standard breeding. *shrugs*

As Doganath stated (multiple times mind you), this is not going to happen or be approved. Lets end this discussion here.

Right okay. This is done now. You guys/ladies need to understand that we are so far beyond swamped it is not funny. We can not spend time answering the same thread over and over again. After a while we need to just say enough is enough. And this one has gone on too long.
