Hlint, lovely little place if your a serious adventurer. BOORING! All people do all day is stand around and talk about politics and philosophy and economics and trading and on and on. BO...OO....OO...RR...II...NN..GG!
They need to get out more, get a life!
I played a great trick on Florah the tax lady. I had to get a book for her that some nasty ratman stole. I talked the ratman to death and took the book then cut a hole in some of the pages and put a dead rat in it. I gave it to Florah and ran. I could hear her shriek from over near the bank, it was hilarious!
Then I went out of town to see some nasty goblins. I snuck up to them, tapped them on the shoulder and when they spun around banged them on the head. I couldnt bring myself to cut off their ears but...ewwww thats just too grose. I did manage to find a handsome young man to do that for me. Amazing what you can get men to do when you bat your eyelids a bit.
Then I went with my new friend Sharlenara into the goblins caves. I don't like going underground and its a weird set up the goblins have got in there. I know why its called the red light now..and its not 'cause its a place for peoples 'hhrrm' satisfaction. Me and Sharli showed them goblins some really neat tricks. it was funny when Sharle through a fireball into one group and they were thrown in all sorts of directions. Classic. Then we met the leader. I tried to talk to him but he was a grumpy old sod and he came right at us. Gave me a right fright he did. Luckily Sharli sent him tumbling with some magic and I must admit I got a little mad about it all..We just wanted to have a little chat with him and he goes and acts like that! We beat them up good and proper and when we got back to the leader we realised that when Sharli had thrown him into the wall he had broken his neck. So we dragged his body back to Ronus with us and he gave me a cool set of boots! Shiny and new!
Then, I met another new friend Sheri, hey I now have Sharle and Sheri! Sheri was hunting animals which I didnt think was very nice but I had promised JOhan I would help him get some pelts while his wife was sick. I didnt realise I had to kill them but until I met Sheri. She tried to show me how to do it but I was a bit squemish so she did it for me. Thank Goodness!
Sheri also helped me in the swamps near Hlint, I had to take off my bright new boots otherwise they would get totally ruined! I didnt like it there one little bit although we played chasey with the lizardmen which was kinda fun! That was until some little ball of light tried to fry us to a crisp. I have to admit I got a little peeved at that and we made sure it knew that. Sheri actually killed it and then we found it had some weird goo that Sheri said a mage in Fot last wanted. Why I do not know and really dont care but he paid me well for it.
While I was there I was offered a helmet by the town lieutenent. I plainly asked him what he could possibly think I could do with it. He just shrugged his head and offered me a hood instead. Now I am not a hood person but it was something for relatively nothing so I said..sure why not.
I played a great trick on the mage while I was there though. I kept sneaking up to him and tapping him then sneaking away again. He cheated in the end by casting a spell so the next time I tried to sneak up on him he grabbed me right away which kinda gave me a fright ebfore I burst out laughing. Luckily he realised I was messing about and let me go after I gave him the essance me and Sheri had found.
Oh the best thing! Me and Sheri and some others went into the crypts in Hlint. Now thats a scary place! Not good for parties I can tell you! One of those with us was this beautiful woman with long golden hair, I wish I could ahve brushed and plaited it for her it would have looked stunning! She didnt let me though, she was pretty serious for someone so beautiful and then i found out she was a Rofireinite. Gah! What a waste, with her looks she'd make a perfect Shadonite, the life of the party! Anyway she was tough too. She smacked down them undead with this massive sword. I am not kidding when I say it was as big as me!
I kept teasing her about it and about how boring Rofirein was but she could not be tempted, I had her laughing at the end but. So that was good! I aim to please!
Well thats enough for now. I'll write some more later. Right now I am going to try and put some licorice in Erags beer..that will make him regular.
