    Gillander St. Clair Diary
    « on: February 15, 2007, 11:02:21 PM »
After i got through working in the sewers today I went adventuring to make some extra money. It was difficult.
I got a few  job offers to retrieve various items, which were all beyond my capabilities.
Then I met her, "The Lady Arynne", a beautiful half elf- human damsel. She disregarded my odor from the sewers and was pleasant in conversation. I was overwhelmed; a lady of her stature conversing with a commoner that smelled worse than a skunk.
I don't think she was being patronizing, but she bought some mushrooms from me ( i needed the gold desperately)and requested I get her some more. Our conversation was pleasant and informative. She is a Ranger with many skills to include tracking, taming and the use of range and melee (sic) weapons.
Then! Sir Mirrim Cade showed up. He was polite, but i got a sense of jealousy. He whisked her away, but not before I informed her that I will be Lord Gillander St. Clair one day.
Could this encounter lead to shall we say romance for the sewer worker??
    Stay tuned

      Gillander St. Clairs Story

I arrived in Hlint today tired and without any funds. I took a job with the Hlint sewer department, killing vermin's and sewer maintenance. The pay stinks worse than I do. I have been bitten, poisoned and paralyzed by these rats. I hate my job, but I need the money.
I have set my goals a little higher today. I applied for a job as a grave digger at the cemetery, hopefully it will get approved, then my next step is to become caretaker of the crypts.
      To be continued.

Are you a gm?? From my interpretation I am in the right forum. No harm meant, just my opinion. I am in character, and I am telling a tale. Thats my understanding from the forum header.
        Thanks for your response.

What you are writing is more along the lines of a journal or diary, something that is posted in the character development thread. This area here is for more of notices put up on the wall in the Inn. For births, deaths, asking for assitance, trips, that sort of thing. And yes aragwen is a GM, please follow his directions.

Gillander's Tales will be moved to Character Development

My first posting was an introduction to my character, getting a job and starting a new life in Hlint. Obviously many readers saw this as a character development diary, which is was not meant to be.
The purpose of my postings are to tell stories about the people I meet in game, so if you see them you have an idea who they are, and to provide some unknown facts about their personalities, experiences, and any other information they wish to divulge.
This has nothing to do with my character development. I see it as human, elf, dwarf,(sorry if I missed your race) interest stories.
Please look forward to my interview with Kell Ereptor, it should prove quite explosive. If you know him, drop me a line. He is quite a character, and proved very evasive. I would say he was Clintonesque "I did not have sex with that woman Monica Lewinsque" (sic)

PS thanks to all of you that read my posting. I am just try to contribute.

Yes, he is a GM. It says so under his name on the left there.
            And so am I.
And he's correct. Your character's personal story belongs in a different forum.
