Hmmm...since you still couldn't catch up ...lets make it even harder .

I'll go find every post Dorg ever made and thank him *grins typing in "Dorganath" *

@Jan - You do realise that Dorg has over 6,000 posts don't you?

Let's say you decided to actually go and do that - finding and clicking on each one taking maybe 30 seconds each time ... there's 3,000 minutes ... 50 hours ... Two and a bit full days spent doing nothing but inflating Dorg's count and thats assuming you don't have to stop to eat, drink, sleep, etc. which would probably stretch it out to 3 or 4 days.

Me on the other hand, only 1,150 or so posts, you could start first thing in the morning and be done by early evening.

Additionally, when Leanthar implements his "10 forum thank yous for one ingame level" trade day (which I am anticipating happening any day now), whereas Dorg will callously ignore you, I will maybe graciously throw you a bone for your efforts.

Very good point there. So if one was to go and thank only 1,150 of Dorg's posts, one could be done by early evening (if one started first thing in the morning) and end up on the winning side?

This would work a lot better if we had a sweatshop of cubicles filled with little paid posters to press the thank yous for 5 cents an hour each.  That's how they got all the positive online reviews for Ashley Simpson's new album... they seriously traced all the posts back to the same office complex in China.  Either the communist government has some kind of invested interest in American lip-synchers, or her daddy rented some PR.

So... if Dorg has the most thank you's and I have made the least thank you's (I'm pretty sure I have anyways)

Does that mean that I'm the Yin to his Yang, the Lex Luthor to his Superman, the lettuce that defiles his grilled cheese sandwich?  Are we destined to be poised in an epic struggle of battle so he may thwart my every attempt to take over the world or make a decent sandwich because I ruined his?!!  I will make a sandwich this world has never seen, THEN USE IT TO TAKE OVER THAT VERY WORLD! *maniacle laughter*

      <_<
      >_>
*runs off to make a sandwich*

@LFFF - What have you done??!!?? I cannot help but think you were like the Devil, whose greatest trick was to convince the world he didn't exist ... BUT then, impressed with his own cleverness, announced how he'd fooled everybody!!

Or ....... maybe that's what you'd have us believe? Maybe we're all looking at you right now and it's someone ELSE flying under the radar this very moment, someone we'd never expect would be interested in seeing the mighty Dorg tumble, someone like ....

*turns suddenly and jabs an index finger in the direction of ...*

Okay, I am officially bowing out of the thank-you race with Dorg, having determined his lead is now completely unassailable.

Now you know how this little guy feels!

That is EXACTLY how I have always pictured Dorg! And ... it's doubly appropriate as I am a 7 year old Japanese lad in RL. What were the chances of such a spot-on photo existing??!!?

I think at this point, a thanks from Dorg to Pseudonym would be considered appropriate. Perhaps, even a small victory for Pseudonym. I mean, it would at least recognize Pseudonym's efforts and his yeilding the race to Dorg.

If it stops his nagging I'm all for it. But what if it encourages him to go on? :)

Fair point, is it really worth the risk?? Does Dorg dare??

I am like a small puppy who, once encouraged, will yap and yap annoyingly and jump up on your leg for your attention until you are forced to take a firm hand with him and banish him to the backyard. It is maybe the only way the little puppy can learn.
