I try to use the World Time Clock for all my quests, myself.
*sighs* It was...but in the last couple of years, someone thought it was a good idea to shift it earlier in the spring and later in the fall. *just shakes his head*Don't blame me, man...I just live here and pay their salaries.
Right, it's just changing the problem. Now people need to think how far removed they are from GMT, but if there's a Layo time, people will need to remember how far away they are from Layo time.So it's just moving the problem Of course, you US people could all petition your Congressman or Senator to ask them to put the Daylight Savings Time in sync with the majority of countries in the world
Sorry EdTheKet, I don't agree with your analysis there. If there was a Layo Standard Time, I would only have to remember one set of sums to make it suit my time (and then adjust +/- for DST). Easy.As it is now, if stuff is posted in PST, EST, AsiaPac, whatever, I have to remember a whole bunch of other time differences.
I don't think this is something that needs to be, or should be dealt with administratively. People (both DMs and players) need to learn to post things in GMT, or use world time clock, or just get on IRC and ask "is the quest in 3 or 4 hours?"
