Dane Oliver: Circle and Shield

My two loves, the sword and the Al'North appear to be at odds. I have spent my youth training with the sword and always in full armor. I feel vulnerable without it. I have also become fond of the Al'North and the feeling that I can shape my surroundings by channel of it. However, the restrictions and rather crude clanging of armor frequently disrupt my ability to channel the Al'North. I am sure there are others that have experienced this. I wonder if there is a way to resolve this conflict.

In my humble opinion, there is a solution to your concerns, although it is a slow one.

I myself would like to be able to cast magics in armour, and to this end I have taken some small skill in an unusual facet of training called Stilled Magic (Still Spells). This feat allows me to cast magic in armour. My research has further led me to believe that when I become more adept at this skill, I can develop my feats in it through three levels to be able to make my spells automatically fit this technique so they will be cast at their original level.

I wish you good practice in your endeavours.
