Druid weilded weapon DMG not working shifted

Description: Since the update, druids no longer have their equipped weapon special damage transfer over to shifted animal forms.  Used to get a 1d6 electrical from my dagger, but now it's no longer working.

Location: All shapeshifting characters

Verified: Grovel can't use elemental dmg in shifted form.  Aerimor noted he was striking less than normal as well, please note if you're a druid and the same thing occurs

I tested this later in the night, no idea after which resets or reloggins, but 2AMish.  My weapon damage was carrying over for my electrical enchant for sure.  I therefore assume the silver enchant, titanium, slashing bonuses are working correctly as well.

I tested it on Kobold form (has a weapon and should carry all properties over)
Gargoyle (carries enhancements over)
and Druid Bear form (carries enhancements over)

retested 4:45AM EST, West Server - Grovel's 1d6 electric on his iron dagger was not carrying over into his regular animal forms (dire wolf, bear, panther, boar, badger) and advanced animal forms (Cheetah, Snake, Parrot, Kitty).

It's working for Pallena just fine... forgive me if this is obvious, but have you actually attacked things while shifted? Keep in mind that it doesn't show on your character sheet...

This seems to be an issue with shields being absorbed into the druid form.  Without the shield equipped, the melee weapon transfers over fine.  Yet with a shield equipped prior to shifting, a few strange things occur.

1) Equipped mainhand weapon properties do not confer over to animal form dmg
2) AC seems to be reduced by 2 if Grovel shifts wearing his shield

I did however note that using the two-handed staff worked fine, which is new.  Prior to the update, the Staff of the Hierophant bonus dmg did not confer over, now they do.

just checked all my elemental enhanced shifts with or without shields and they work fine

my heirophant staff has always been my enhanced main weapon of choice though changed in form to fit each char separately
