Welcome to Layonara.  Here we do our best to maintain a community of respectful and helpful members as best as humanly possible.  We do our best to ensure our members' experience here will be positive and enjoyable.

To access our world, it is require first that you have Neverwinter Nights, the game, and it's two expansion packs: Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark.  This can be acquired by purchasing the NWN Diamond Edition through such channels as Amazon.com and eBay.com, among others.

Secondly one must submit a Character Submission for approval.  We provide a helpful 'Wizard' to help you properly format your submission, which can be located here: http://forums.layonara.com/newthread.php?do=charsubmit
It is highly suggested you browser Layonara's Online Reference Encycolopedia, common refered to as LORE, in order to learn about the world, it's history, the pantheon of Gods, Races, classes, rules, etc.

Hi there, and welcome to Layonara. If you play the way you suggest you do, you will LOVE it here. The players are mad on role playing and if they intend to become disrespectful, they will ask you first OOC (Out Of Character) in a tell to make sure you are happy to proceed. If you say no, they will back off.

I have NEVER been griefed on this server, the people are terrific and the role play brilliant. Oh, and the GMs add a special flavour of their own to make it even better. The only downside I have come across so far, and I am sorry to say this, is that real life tends to get in the way.

ShiffDrgnrt was the only one who responded to me that made any sense he even stook up for me when some wise guy was trying to disrespect me. This guy could be invited to any of my session, but we know he will kiss your asses and turn this around on me, I am sick of you internet wise guys. Take a look at mysite if you can still find it, and ask yourself "would you mess  with me in person" the answer wont be answered. Not intended to insult Shiff, but what can I do, the truth is he is the only one who was down to earth and treated me with full respect, HAIL TO YOU MY FRIEND even if you shunn me for this. This is the last you creeps will hear from me, thanks for wasting my day, in the long run, I am the fool, you jerks wasted my ing day!

Not to be mean or anything, since I don't know what comments you got that made you want to quit even before starting.. But writing these sorts of comment surely wont help anything.

Now I am sure that if someone did make those comments to you, you can always flag them to the GM team if they truly offended you, and you should if they did. The best person I can think of to flag it to, would be Dorganath or Rowana, nothing against the others gm, but those are the one I would talk to if something like this happened to me.

If not then maybe just cool down and let by guns be by guns?

I can't imagine what someone said to set you off like this, but rest assured, the community is full of respectful people.

That being said, if you continue to spam the forums in this manner, we will ban your account.  By so doing, you're disrupting others' enjoyment of the game and the gameworld.

If, however, you choose not to continue this behaviour, the Team will, as always, be glad to answer any questions you might have in the course of getting your character approved and into the game.

Layonara is a great community - I liked it so much I became a GM.  But this verbal abuse and disruptive behaviour has to stop if you wish to be a part of it.
