Hello folks.

I'm Byron, hope to be a new player soon. Got on IRC and chatted around about my concept and wanted to post for an answer I couldn't get.

Are there any established Sun Elf family's that players or GM's have made?

I don't mind making up my own, got a good one. Just prefer to bend in with the community.

My thanks!

If you mean like, royal or Noble Families?  Yes, the Lore Master is bound to have some hidden in his brain.

However, would you be allowed to make a character with some sort of Noble/Royal Lineage, No.

Reason being, the Team does not want to have to deal with players/Characters claiming they have some Authorative Power/Birth Rights/Inherited Properties (if I recall correctly).  This is nothing against the players, but it is to keep the field fair for all players.

When you write up your Submission you will get more help in that department if you wanted to go that route in some way, but thats what I can tell you as far as any Royal/Noble Family Type Familys

Thanks for the reply.

Wasn't looking for a noble family, per say.

Last PC I played was a Dwarf. He had a specific Clan that had some history in game. They were famous for weapon making, manufactured blue steel, had a specific Heraldry, ect.

Just wondering if there was anything like that out there for Sun Elves.

That you would need to ask around about.  I'm sure someone could give you an idea, but most of the PC's here make their own histories up for their Families.  So feel free to go right ahead.  The Team will let you know if something is not compatible, but you can also ask around about pre-existing stuff too

A semi-belated hello Verideth. *waves* I say semi because I only staggered in here three days ago myself.

Hopped over and read your character bio, nice. It's too bad you couldn't work the sailing part into the revision, I thought it was an exciting mini-adventure. Storms running you aground, finding water on a deserted island, pirates, pirate-chasers and being thrown overboard and washing ashore. Colorful way to wind up in Mistone to be sure.  :)
