Hello and welcome,

While uncertain how new to NWN (not to mention Layonara) you are, we have just the place for you to get the ball rolling:

This page compiles most of the important information about our world that's currently available (a lot of new Lore on the way). It offers a general view of how our various systems and processes work and hundreds of pages of Lore.

Once you feel confident and not so lost, look around the forums, especially the Character Submissions forum and read its stickied posts, these are some of the rules in place for new heroes who begin their struggle.

If you have any specific questions relating to any topic at all, we always have helpful people both here on the forum (Ask a Gamemaster sub-forum) or the IRC channel.
