This is my RE introduction

I'm currently in precisely the same boat as zenvidar below me! The two of us started our previous characters together a few years ago, mine was Naiather, another ranger. We actually had intertwining character bios at the time.
Starting a new character that I have more experience perfecting, a fighter / (eventually) weapon master.
Can't wait to get in there and begin a new saga with you all!

Well, I certainly remember the fiasco about stuff going missing from the Arms; if L gives you another chance (whether it was you, someone on your account, or some sort of cosmic misunderstanding), it'll be good to have you in game.
From your more recent posts, you seem like a decent enough fellow.

Hey Shiff, what do you think about a monk taking weapon master for unarmed?

While an awesome concept, you CAN'T have a WM in Unarmed Strike. You can only have a WM of an actual wielded weapon.

Half-orc ranger/monk/Kama WM = utter madness.

I'm thinking of the great monk/rogue/shadowdancer build.

That'd be hard to swing, Zenvidar. After you leave the Monk class, you can never return. Straight Monk/SD would be easier.

Yeah, definitely. Unless a successful CDQ allowed a return to the monk.

I actually am a firm believer that the pure monk, with all of its epicly stacking tumble skill and spell resistance is the baddest boy of the group. Though I've never tried nor seen the coveted, never before tried monk/dwarven defender. Now that might be a devastating sumo dwarf to be reckoned with.
"ye cant move me! ahm too bloody fat!"
*farts into a spinkick*
But above all combat builds, build the type which makes you take pride in his character the most. Does he brace for impact, dodge quickly? Does he sidestep intiutively, perhaps an expertise monk? Roleplay the strengths and weaknesses of any build, and relize, oh yes... dwarven dodge bonus vs. giants doth rock verilly! Whatever class!
And gnomes, never underestimate the tiny stocky ones. There's a Ms. Jennera who can rip the arms off the largest giant, and she stands around under 4 feet tall.
And every giant fears her, I've seen it!

Monk 5/Cleric10/Rogue 5! Use two Kamas, buff yourself stupid, and take out everything! The Improved Two Weapon fighting feat is costly to get, but what the hell, it's worth it.
This is my fall back build.
