The guy giving the thumbs up isnt he from the Fallout series of games? Ive used that extention cord knot one for years. :) Some of those others are pretty cool.

Pipboy is the bracer-styled device issued by Vault-Tec in the game.
The person (with the vault suit) is called Vault Boy afaik.

Completely unrelated to this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPt08UYmyMo) of course: vacuum tubes on radios are rather energy-inefficient and not necessarily better then the technology that replaced them for a reason - but they look cool...
