i'm not shure what my character (room sanguine) would have as a theme tune..............but all of the lyrics would have to be replaced by the word ROOM :p

For Karana and i gues any of her fellow Krashinites its easy.

Led Zeppelin - Immigrant Song

Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
from the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods
Will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying:
Valhalla, I am coming!
On we sweep with threshing oar,
Our only goal will be the western shore.

Ah, ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
from the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
How soft your fields so green,
Can whisper tales of gore,
Of how we calmed the tides of war.
We are your overlords.
On we sweep with threshing oar,
Our only goal will be the western shore.
So now youd better stop and rebuild all your ruins,
For peace and trust can win the day
Despite of all your losing.

Ash's and Glenn's theme song would have to be "Savin' Me" by Nickelback. It really fits them perfectly! That and I really like all of Nickelback's lyrics. hehe.. Ash wouldn't exactly have her own theme song because she would be taking way too much credit for herself and not enough for all those that have helped her along the way. ;)
"Savin' Me"  Prison gates won't open up for me On these hands and knees I'm crawlin' Oh, I reach for you Well I'm terrified of these four walls These iron bars can't hold my soul in All I need is you Come please I'm callin' And oh I scream for you Hurry I'm fallin', I'm fallin'  [Chorus:] Show me what it's like To be the last one standing And teach me wrong from right And I'll show you what I can be Say it for me Say it to me And I'll leave this life behind me Say it if it's worth saving me  Heaven's gates won't open up for me With these broken wings I'm fallin' And all I see is you These city walls ain't got no love for me I'm on the ledge of the eighteenth story And oh I scream for you Come please I'm callin' And all I need from you Hurry I'm fallin', I'm fallin'  [Chorus]  Hurry I'm fallin'  All I need is you Come please I'm callin' And oh, I scream for you Hurry I'm fallin', I'm fallin', I'm fallin'  [Chorus]  Hurry I'm fallin'

It's time to revive this little thread, too, I think.   Steel's theme song:

The Red

They say freak,
When you're singled out,
The red,
well it filters through.
So lay down,
the threat is real,
When his sight goes red again.
Seeing red again,
Seeing red again.
This change,
he won't contain,
Slip away,
to clear your mind.
When asked,
who made it show,
The truth,
he gives in to most.
So lay down,
the threat is real,
When his sight goes red again.
So lay down,
the threat is real,
When his sight goes red again.
So lay down,
the threat is real,
When his sight goes red again.
Seeing red again,
Seeing red again,
Seeing red again,
Seeing red again,
Seeing red again,
Seeing red again,
Seeing red again,
Seeing red....
They say freak...
When you're singled out.
The red,
it filters through...

Oh - OHH!! Kindo and I are always talking about how theme songs should accompany our chars - we have a big ol' playlist of various collected music (games, LOTR, etc) that plays while we're on Layo, and sometimes the tune is so incredibly fitting to the situation.... like clunky Steiner (FF9) music playing when Cederic comes on the scene, or battle music that begins just as a fight starts, etc.

I do believe Yuffie's theme (FF7) suits Ariel very, very well. Heh. Clicky to listen to shoddy midi version!

Today is the greatest
Day I ’ve ever kown
Can’t live for tomorrow
Tomorrow’s much too long
I burn my eyes out
Before I get out

I wanted more
Than life could ever grant
Bored by the chore
Of saving face

Today is the greatest
Day I have ever known
Can’t wait for tomorrow
I might not have that long
I’ll tear my heart out
Before I get out

Pink ribbon scars
That never forget
I’ve tried so hard
To cleanse these regrets
My angel wings
Were bruised and restrained
My belly stings

Today is
Today is
Today is
The greatest day
That I have ever known

I want to turn you on
I want to turn you round
I want to turn you on
I want to turn you

Today is the greatest
Today is the greatest day
Today is the greatest day
That I have ever known

I know the pieces fit
'Cause I watched them fall away
Mildewed and smouldering
Fundamental differing
Pure intention juxtaposed
Will set two lovers' souls in motion
Disintegrating as it goes
Testing our communication
The light that feuled our fire then
Has a burned a hole between us so
We cannot see to reach an end
Crippling our communication

I know the pieces fit
'Cause I watched them tumble down
No fault, none to blame
It doesn't mean I don't desire to
Point the finger, blame the other
Watch the temple topple over
To bring the pieces back together
Rediscover communication

The poetry
That comes from the squaring off between
And the circling is worth it
Finding beauty in the dissonance

There was a time that the pieces fit
But I watched them fall away
Mildewed and smouldering
Strangled by our coveting
I've done the math enough to know
The dangers of our second guessing
Doomed to crumble unless we grow
And strengthen our communication

Cold silence has
A tendency to
Atrophy any
Sense of compassion
Between supposed brothers
Between supposed lovers
(sometimes says "lovers" the first
time and then "brothers" in concert)

I know the pieces fit
I know the pieces fit
I know the pieces fit
I know the pieces fit
I know the pieces fit
I know the pieces fit
I know the pieces fit
I know the pieces fit (crescendo)

hmmm had to think about this a bit

Drogo is definately the easiest of the two that i play mostly

mysterions by  portishead is always running through my brain when i try to put myself into drogo's mindset

Phaeyr on the other hand since im still getting into his head as he evolves in the early stages is a toss up

there is 4 walls black by genitorturers
and haunted by poe

you never know what happens to pop up when i shuffle the music list

I have the characters Kinai and Seidahn regularly played so... Here's my theme songs for them!

Kinai Kinsei's Theme Song

Not Gonna Get Us
Tatu

They're not gonna get us...
Not gonna get us!

Starting from here, let's make a promise...
You and me, let's just be honest!
We're gonna run, nothing can stop us...
Even the night that falls all around us.

Soon there will be laughter and voices,
Beyond the clouds over the mountains...
We'll run away on roads that are empty,
Lights from the airfield shining upon you.

Nothing can stop us, not now, I love you.
They're not gonna get us,
They're not gonna get us.

We'll run away, keep everything simple.
Night will come down, our guardian angel.
We rush ahead, the crossroads are empty...
Our spirits rise, they're not gonna get us.

My love for you, always forever...
Just you and me, all else is nothing.
Not going back, not going back there!
They don't understand,
They don't understand us.

Seidahn Xyvorn's Theme Song

Sakkara
Hour Cast

Verse:
Sitting in waiting, I'm lying there.
I feel your fingers are bringing this gun to my head.
All my cells are changing, changing in me.
It's just like everything I ever hoped it would be.

Chorus:
I can feel you under my skin,
It's all black, you put me here.
I can feel you under my skin all the time.

Verse:
Now, I've awakened, new life flows through me.
It seems I'm becoming a perfect bloodletting machine.
And inside this madness, it all looks so clear.
The sound of my voice is the last thing that you'll ever hear.

Chorus:
I can feel you under my skin.
It's all black, you put me here.
I can feel you under my skin all the time.
You sucked out the light.
I can feel you under my skin.
It's all black, you put me here.
I can feel you under my skin all the time.
I'll feed by your side...

Bridge:
Kill, feed, want, waste, bleed.
Nothing but useless meat.
Taste, feel, take, need.
Hate what it's done to me...

J'ser Arcanebow...
You Know My Name, by Chris Cornell.

If you take a life do you know what you'll give?
Odds are, you won't like what it is
When the storm arrives, would you be seen with me?
By the merciless eyes i've deceived

I've seen angels fall from blinding heights
But you yourself are nothing so divine
Just next in line

Arm yourself because no-one else here will save you
Their odds will betray you
And they will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you
Are you willing to die?

The coldest blood runs through my veins
You know my name

If you come inside things will not be the same
When you return to the night
If you think you won
You never saw me change
The game that we have been playing

I've seen this diamond cut through harder men
Than you yourself
But if you must pretend
You may meet your end

Arm yourself because no-one else here will save you

The odds will betray you
And I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you
Are you willing to die?

The coldest blood runs through my veins

Try to hide your hand
Forget how to feel
(Forget how to feel)

Life is gone with just a spin of the wheel
(Spin of the wheel)

Arm yourself because no-one else here will save you
The odds will betray you
And I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you
Are you willing to die?

The coldest blood runs through my veins
You know my name
(You know my name)
You know my name
(You know my name)
You know my name!
You know my name!
You know my name!

Yes, that was the theme song for the latest James Bond movie.

For Honora?

"Cartoon Heroes"

We are what we're supposed to be
Illusions of your fantasy
All dots and lines that speak and say
What we do is what you wish to do

We are the color symphony
We do the things you wanna see
Frame by frame, to the extreme

Our friends are so unreasonable
They do the unpredictable
All dots lines that speak and say
What we do is what you wish to do

It's all an orchestra of strings
Doin' unbelievable things
Frame by frame, to the extreme
One by one, we're makin' it fun

We are the Cartoon Heroes - oh-oh-oh
We are the ones who're gonna last forever
We came out of a crazy mind - oh-oh-oh
And walked out on a piece of paper

Here comes Spiderman, arachnophobian
Welcome to the toon town party
Here comes Superman, from never-neverland
Welcome to the toon town party

We learned to run at speed of light
And to fall down from any height
It's true, but just remember that
What we do is what you just can't do

And all the worlds of craziness
A bunch of stars that's chasing us
Frame by frame, to the extreme
One by one, we're makin' it fun

We are the Cartoon Heroes - oh-oh-oh
We are the ones who're gonna last forever
We came out of a crazy mind - oh-oh-oh
And walked out on a piece of paper

Here comes Spiderman, arachnophobian
Welcome to the toon town party
Here comes Superman, from never-neverland
Welcome to the toon town party

You think we're so mysterious
Don't take us all too serious
Be original, and remember that
What we do is what you just can't do

What we do is what you just can't do
What we do is what you just can't do
What we do is what you just can't do
What we do is what you just can't do

We are the Cartoon Heroes - oh-oh-oh
We are the ones who're gonna last forever
We came out of a crazy mind - oh-oh-oh
And walked out on a piece of paper

There's still more to come
And everyone will be
Welcomed at the
Toon - Toon
Town - Town
Party

For Emwonk T'noduoy I think I'll choose "Strange" by Joe Satriani

Strange
--------

My heart is pounding, my stomach's inside out
I'm feeling kinda shaky, my mind is full of doubt.
All I ever think about is fearing fear itself,
Wish I could unscrew my head and put it on the shelf.

CHORUS:
You know I'm feeling kinda... Strange.
You know I'm feeling kinda... Strange.

Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight.
Don't know what I'm looking at, the lights are all too bright.
My brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor.
Sweep 'em up, throw 'em away, I don't want 'em any more.

CHORUS

Clouds race across the sky, day turns into night.
Still there are the questions, no answers in sight.

Everything is twisted, everything is oh so tight.
Staring out the window, everything is just too bright.
Brain's about to crumble, spill out on the floor.
Wish I could unscrew my head and kick it out the door.

CHORUS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

For Treana Min E'Zoenna in hopes for her future perhaps I'd choose "Trials Turned to Gold" by PFR, or possibly more fitting for her life thus far would be "See The Sun Again" also by PFR.

Trials Turned to Gold
--------------------

He's brought me here
Where things are clear
And trials turn to gold
He's shared with me
His victory
He won in days of old
Oh Lord, I don't deserve
The riches of Your world
But You changed my filthy rags
To linen white as snow

The view from here
Is nothing near
To what it is for You
I've tried to see
Your plan for me
But I only acted like I knew
Oh Lord, forgive the times
I've tried to read your mind
Cause You said if I'd be still
Then I would hear Your voice

My Lord, my King
My urge to sing
And praise the things above
No words could say
The glorious way
You've changed me with Your love
He's brought me here
Where things are clear
And trials turned to gold

See The Sun Again
-------------------

Never imagined that you'd be here again
Yet another season of doubt has set in
The warm september rains have gone, gone away
The trust that you held in your heart isn't there
Now you're fighting your fears but they never fight fair
Gone are all the endless summer days

(Chorus)
I believe that they're still there
Though the storms will surely come
So let me ask you can you look to the sky
And strain to see the sun again

You harbor the hurt and you shelter the pain
Too proud to confess that you'd fallen again
But don't you long for mercy's tender embrace
Remember the works you spoke from your heart
It's a pity those phrases have fallen apart
Gone is every promise that you made

(Chorus)

Will you keep fooling yourself
How long will you run till you're gasping for air
You ran when the shadows grew long
You thought the sun fell from the sky
But I tell you you're wrong

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
For Lyle Underroot I have trouble picking, but "Thrive" by the Newsboys might be something he'd have sung during the Dark Ages of Layonara as a sort of prayer to Prunilla...except you'd have to change references of 'Lord' to 'Lady' or something along those lines.

Thrive
------

Down here in the valley
Every shadow You see
Has its own story
Down here in the valley
Every puddle of mud
Comes from tears and blood
And it's so hard just to get warm
That the chill turns into despair

Chorus:
Will You lift me up with tender care?
Will You wash me clean in the palm of Your hand?
Will You hold me close so I can thrive?
When You touch me, that's when I know I'm alive

Down here in the valley
Nothing's able to grow
'Cause the light's too low
Folks spend their days
Digging 'round for diamonds and gold
'Til they just grow old
And they don't know there's anything else
They don't know they're breathing bad air
But I'm tired of living like this
And my soul cries out, "If You're there... "

Chorus

Call me up to Your side
Draw me up to Your light
Let it blind me
Lord, refine me
Refine me out of my mind

Chorus (repeat 2x)
