Nine hundred, nine thousand, and four score
Numbers that are still for us left in store
To count and to count, but never we'll stop
'Till down back to zero the numbers do drop.

*comforts poor Vitor through his delusions*  That right, we're almost there.  *a single tear falls down my cheek*  9979.  *mutters under his breath*  You heartless, cruel, taskmasters, must we count forever?

So when I delete this thread, do I check the box that says "Update user's post count"?

I thought we could have a poll about it first. :)

It seems only fair.  That'll likely amount
To a number of people bemoaning their count
Don't know about them, but I'd rather be dead
Than have a fake post count from spamming this thread.

*coughs* The posts here are valid. Many of these posts have thought and took many minutes to write. The poetry here is brilliant, and therefore this thread should be moved the the poetic license thread, where it will be imortalized forever.  Sincerly, Jser Arcanebow Jser Arcanebow.

Many posts on this thread were considered, it's true
By those who took their time to write 'em.
But their work must be weighed 'gainst the short-sighted few
    Who spammed numbers ad infinitum.

The poetry (which I engendered) is trite
    Doggerel, verse at the most
If we want it immortal, you'll find it is quite
Easy to place in one post.

I feel the accomplishment realized here
That should keep this thread 'way from Perdition
Is a thread that kept running for half of the year
    With nearly a daily addition.

So strike down the post count, if such can be done
But the thread acts as commemoration
Of a shining example (though a trivial one)
    Of the playerbase collaboration.
