for the old D&D players....

While on a trip through my parents attic I found a bunch of my old D&D things.  So far reading old issues of "The Dragon" has been very funny.  Heres a picture of the oldest one I have from March 1977.

*Sigh*... I wish I had my old D&D Basic Edition box... no idea what ever happened to it, along with B2 Keep On the Bordrlands.

I also wish I knew what happened to my collection of Paranoia manuals and supplements.  Although I have seen where someone has done a d20 version of Paranoia ( http://www.geocities.com/miksector/cpu.html )... I wish I had all of the old books for ideas, etc.

The oldies are still the best! Our group is currently doing the Slave Lords (modified for 3.5) series after ... how many years?

Keep on the Borderlands, Isle of Dread, Pharoah, White Plume Mountain, Bloodstone Series ... my favourite EVER PnP moment comes from when playing The Immortal Storm, remember that?

Since my mom threw out my Basic D&D set, I was left with only my even more treasured Star Frontiers: Alpha Dawn (the original rules for planetside adventures) and Star Frontiers: Knight Hawks (the later released rules for adventures in space) boxed sets, as well as the first and only Zebulon's Guide with the revamped rules set for the longest time.  Later on I discovered Gamma World (4th Edition) and fell in love with the random mutations that could be either beneficial or highly amusing defects.  I've still got all of those, including all the half-inch squared counters for the Star Frontiers games.

Throughout the years I've also owned, Dark Conspiracy, Shadowrun, Renegade Legion, and a few other PnP RPG's.  Most of these others though I've since traded away.  Most recently purchased of my PnP collection includes the D&D 3rd Edition core rulebooks including the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, and both Monster Manuals.

*big sighs of nostalgia*
