The previous mark of 41,336,440 was set by Scott Safran back in 1982 -- the longest standing record in gaming -- and was considered virtually unbreakable.

58 hours straight with no sleep!  wonder if thats a record in itself?

I once stayed up for 44 hours straight when I was in the Army.  After 30 hours or so, coffee and sugar only give you about 5-10 mins of spark, then it fades fast.

at the 44 hour mark, I was cleaning my weapon when I passed out cold and hit the floor....funny thing though, I was standing up at the time and thought I was perfectly awake,..then like a flip of a light switch..."Lights Out!".
