The Overly Serious Rofireinite

Ok... ever its the lateness that I am up witch is like... Midnight time here, now or... this is actually funny.

The Overly Serious Rofireinite:

He does all he can to uphold the laws of Rofirein and to bring those that break Rofireins laws to justice. However, he seems to lack patience and thus has no time for court or trials so if he catches you breaking any of Rofireins laws well... It was nice knowing you... that's all I can say... but I'll be sure to visit you whenever I can though... you might not know if I was there... unless you can look up through six feet of dirt.

In other words... if you break any of Rofireins laws... and he catches you? then run... very very fast.

Perfectly reasonable with a blank deity field, like a duelist that kills in Az'atta's name. *Shrugs* Due process is part of the law - were I a Rofireinite I would consider him a nuisance and seriously bad for rep, but  heretics are part of the baggage of religion. I would not fill in his deity field because I would not want him confused with actual blessed followers of Order, who are the enemies of Chaos.

Edit - if you were take it the other way and instead be more LE and press for the harshest of penalties within the process, that would be more feasible to retain privilege and all that.

Well, that was mainly the thought that brought that whole thing up. True he may spare those that have done minor to mild crimes and grant them a trial but if the crime is punishable by death well... He'd most likely witness there crime, judge them accordingly (often finding them guilty) and execute them on the spot. :)

Note: repeated offender and/or those that perform multiple crimes may be dealt the harshest punishment... execution on the spot. Be them armed or not. He really hates law breakers... can't you tell?

Additional note: Don't try bribing him... that's a crime. Wait... that's multiple crimes. Time to die.

Bear in mind that most Rofireinites are not permitted, in most regions, to render verdicts; that remains under the auspice of the local judiciary.  So he still would have to have a blank deity field if he disregarded due process, because it would be emphatically counter to Rofirein's dogma.

Rofireinites know their place in the structure of things and the proper order of dispensing justice.  No one is judge and executioner, and even judges don't make immediate decisions without a trial.  That's just not how things are done.  That's vigilantism, not proper law and order, and could be considered a crime in itself.  It's the restraint of law and order that makes a Rofireinite a Rofireinite rather than just some random adventurer or nutjob with a sword (yeah, redundant, I know).
