Shurikens only do a d3 of damage, and you can't add your STR bonus for some reason.

I'm big on throwing axes, even if they are a bit heavy to cart around in NWN.

    Throwing axes... too simple, their big, and they hurt, why would you throw something a second grader can make out of a paperclip and a saudering iron.
