Psh. Eleven was the perfect age. Big enough to ride all the cool rides and play the fun sports/games, but still young enough that you get chauffeured around and don't have any more responsibility than taking out the trash and doing the dishes.

:p

Hah, no. My favorite age would be is 25. Done with school, drink legally (or have been since 21) without the hangover effect (if you do, you'll recover sooner), have the energy to travel, pull all nighters (no bed time), be able to rent car without asking your older sister to be there :/ If you've kept a good credit scores, you can purchase things at better interest rates. No wrinkles and no eye cream regiment. All you need is to slap on sunscreen, bikini, mascara, chapstick, and join the wild EDC crowd. :D

yeah... I think I'll pass.  Never really was my thing though.  *shrugs*  Good trailer for it though.  It looks like people trying to recreate Woodstock.

If I had to compare, Woodstock is equivalent to Coachella.. *coughs* located in the desert, in the middle of no-where, no shower, full of hippies (LOL), brownies and assorted baked goods, the skunk scent isn't anything to be surprised about, etc. I'm not high maintenance, but I do love showering daily. Coachella was not for me.

EDC is more like Ultra Music Festival in Miami - YouTube - ‪Ultra Music Festival 13 2011 Commercial‬‏ Unfortunately it's always during our finals before Spring break. Sigh. But with these types of events, it's located in bigger cities. Easier access to shower or if you're exhausted, you can go back to your hotel, nap, and go back out for more in a few hours. And let's not forget the pool parties. I prefer them more versus being sardine in the thousands and thousands of hot sweaty bodies. So far, I haven't encountered any problems at EDC. Everyone is SUPER friend; you can act like a fool as long as you don't harm yourself or others. :)

Reminds me of some of the early Berlin Love Parades - those were always a blast to go to.  Heh, getting a little too long in the tooth for these kind of things now :)

uber Glorified Rave. Not to sure how many people attends the edc, but it reminds me of the Black and blue in montreal, an event that's raising money for aids. Last year the festival had over 85 000 people over 3 days, 10 k of thoose in the Olympic stadium raving all night. I'm just not cleaning up after them any more :)
