This isnt a grievance really,but im not sure where else to ask this question.
I am playing a Wood Elf character.
Im not sure which set of stat bonuses and penalties are suppose to be applied with the subrace skin.
In the racial description it says "As standard Elf except as follows:"
then has the following stat adjustments.
+2Str
+2Dex
-2Con
-2Int
-2Cha
Then is (),it has (ESA +2Str,-2Int,-2Cha)
The ESA stat adjustments are the ones I have applied with the subrace skin.
What im saying is the description is a little confusing unless I missed something written somewhere else.I thought the first set of stat adjustments was what I would get with the subrace skin applied.
Like I said this isnt a complaint,it's just a little confusing for new players to see two different sets of stat adjustments written and not know which are the ones applied in-game.
Maybe not writing the stat adjustments that aren't applied will remove any chance of confusion?
Sorry if this isnt the correct place to write this,and I've only been playing this game period for a few days and i'm not familiar with D&D at all either.It may be I missed something somewhere else that explained the two sets of stat adjustments.
So if its my mistake missing something I apologize for wasting anyone's time with a dumb question.
